The car slowly stopped beside Willow.
The window rolled down, and a handsome man looked at Willow coldly.
Willow stiffened at the sight of Jasper being here.
He hardly looked for her in the past two days. She thought that it was because of Yelena who came looking for him at the company. He no longer made excessive demands towards her.
Willow couldn’t imagine he would come over so late at night.
She was so terrified that she couldn't speak. She wanted to run away but her legs were numb.
She couldn’t even move an inch.
“Still not getting in? Are you waiting for an invitation?” Jasper’s low voice was heard.
Willow came back to her senses with a jolt.
She wanted to run away, but she was concerned that Jasper might follow her and find the kids. It was the worst thing that could happen to her.
Willow got into the car nervously. The atmosphere was tense as the car drove out of the neighborhood,
Willow panicked, “Mr. Hughes, where are you taking me?”
Jasper didn’t respond. He gripped the steering wheel tightly and sped up.
“Please stop the car, I want to go back,” Willow pleaded anxiously.
She was fearful of Jasper’s intimidating power and worried about the kids at home.
“Good evening, Mr. Hughes.” Jasper’s butler, Leon Freeman, greeted him respectfully at the door.
Jasper ignored him and brought Willow to the living hall. He threw her on the sofa and leaned in to trap her. He was standing with one foot and keeping another knee on the edge of the sofa.
He lifted her chin to make her face him. “Willow, you seem to turn a deaf ear to my words. You like to be in contact with Xavier that much, hmm?”
Willow was anxious when she looked into his deep eyes. “Mr. Hughes, you misunderstood me. He came to return my belongings.”
Jasper tightened his grip on her chin, causing her to frown in pain.
“Why are your belongings at his place? Care to explain?” Jasper asked with gritted teeth while staring at her.
