Willow wanted to quit her job but her financial situation didn't allow it.
She didn't know where to get the two hundred thousand dollars for compensation.
It was better to take her time and figure out a way to get Xavier to fire her.
Willow was racking her brain for ideas when Tyson called her, “Ms. Nason, bring two cups of coffee to the CEO’s office.”
“Okay.”
There was a coffee bar right in the secretary's office.
There was a special class at the university teaching them how to make coffee.
Willow had practiced the skill of making coffee to perfection in the past.
She still had it in her.
Soon, Willow brewed two cups of coffee and brought it to the CEO's office.
Jasper and Xavier were sitting at the coffee table, talking about work.
Compared to Jasper, Xavier’s aristocratic aura was nothing.
Willow held her breath and placed the cups in front of them. “Both Mr. Hughes, here’s the coffee.”
Willow was ready to go when Xavier called out to her, "Willow, sit down. We were talking about you.”
Willow froze and sat down next to them with her hands on her knees.
She had forgotten that the flash drive was in her pocket and she inserted the wrong one.
Being questioned like this made her nervous.
She had to answer properly to hide the fact that she had Jasper’s kids.
She tried to look as natural as possible and said, “That's my hobby. I like to watch Peppa Pig. So, I did some slides about them.”
Jasper smiled slightly while Xavier laughed and said, “Willow, this hobby of yours is quite unique. How come I didn't realize you had such a childish side in the past?”
His words made Willow's heart sink.
She subconsciously looked at Jasper's face.
