When Samantha’s mother heard that Samantha was looking for her, she hurriedly packed some food and left.

After lunch, Willow sent Lara and the kids home and she went to work.

She had only taken a half day's leave. She had to go back to work in the afternoon.

She couldn’t act rashly with a family to support.

While waiting for a bus at the bus stop, a silver Porsche suddenly stopped beside her.

She thought that she was in the way and moved aside. The car drove near her again and the window opened.

A handsome young man was in the car. He had brown and permed hair and sharp facial features.

It was Xavier!

He smiled brightly at Willow. “It’s been a long time, Wills.”

Willow’s heart sank when she saw him. She felt sad and helpless.

She was taken aback for a second, then she looked to the side. “Sorry, don’t talk to me. I don’t know you.”

“I know you. Are you going to work? Come on, I’ll give you a ride,” Xavier said.

“No, thank you. The bus is here.”

The bus arrived in time, and Willow got in quickly.

She didn’t want to have anything to do with Xavier. After all, their relationship only existed in the past.

Xavier felt dejected as Willow refused his offer.

Xavier blamed her for breaking his heart. He had thought that five years was enough to forget her. He didn’t realize she held a special place in his heart.

Instead of forgetting her, he loved her more. He only wanted her and couldn’t forget about her. He wanted to give himself another chance to pursue her.

It was lunch break at Hughes Corporation now.

Even though Jasper was not in the office, Willow was not in the mood to clean. She was distracted by her emotions.

She accidentally bumped into a cup of water on the table. It fell to the floor and shattered.

She hurriedly crouched down and picked up the broken pieces.

“Hiss!” She accidentally cut herself in a hurry.

“You’re so careless.” A low voice was heard and the man walked quickly towards her.
