Willow was still frozen in place. This was something that she could never have imagined.
Jasper had built the villa for her family just because he didn’t have a decent chair to sit on the last time he came to visit.
Willow thought that Jasper was Samantha’s boyfriend who had come to visit her.
If he had come to see Samantha, why did he want to have a meal at her house?
Willow didn’t like Samantha, so she had something against Jasper too. She had intentionally taken a broken chair for Jasper to sit on.
He had gotten angry and left. He had even said that the food from Nason village was not suitable for him.
Because of what happened, he had demolished their house and built them a big villa.
He was returning resentment with kindness.
“May I ask, how much did the villa cost?” Willow asked carefully after she came back from her senses.
“I don’t know. I’m only responsible for handing over the keys and deed to you,” the young man said.
“Did your boss say anything else?” Willow asked again. She felt that it was not that simple.
Even if Jasper was rich, he wouldn’t build a villa for their family because of such a small matter.
She definitely had to pay him back.
She would ask Jasper about it when she returned to Buscen City. She would pay him back after she earned money.
It seemed like she had to work hard in the future.
She couldn’t take something for free. She had to pay him back, otherwise, she wouldn’t be comfortable staying there because they were not related.
Florence’s house was in front. Her house used to be better than Willow’s house, but it was nothing compared to Willow’s villa now.
“Willow, you have such a nice and big villa now. It’s even more luxurious than Samantha’s house. Is your boyfriend richer than Samantha’s boyfriend?” Florence praised Willow while snooping for more information.
She wanted to know if it was her boyfriend who built the villa for her family.
Willow smiled awkwardly and said, "No way. A developer saw that our house was the shabbiest and easiest to demolish so he chose our house to build a trial residence."
She didn’t have a boyfriend and she never thought of bragging about her fortune to anyone.
She just wanted to live comfortably.
“A trial residence?” Florence didn't understand.
“It’s for us to live there for a trial period. If the villa’s design is faulty, it might collapse. It’s risky to live in a trial residence,” Willow explained.
