Deborah looked at Willow and said, "Today is my last day here. Willow, you've won."
With that, she walked out of the cleaning department.
Willow frowned slightly before walking into Sean's office. "Mr. Fawcett…"
"Willow, do you know why I didn't arrange for Deborah to clean the top floor?" Sean suddenly asked with a judgmental look on his face.
"Why?"
"Because she's too ambitious. All she wants is to seduce Mr. Hughes. I couldn't possibly let a woman like her disturb Mr. Hughes on the top floor. In comparison, you seemed much more naive. However, never once did I think you'd do something like this. Not only did you seduce Mr. Hughes, but you even made such a big mess," Sean said.
"Mr. Fawcett, it's not what you think. The truth is…" Willow hurriedly explained.
"Willow, I know what you're going to say. Deborah has already admitted her mistake to me. She's already quit. This is over. Leave." Sean stopped Willow for saying anything further.
Willow was upset. Although she wanted to speak, she could tell that Sean was done with this conversation.
She had no choice but to leave his office.
Mr. Fawcett was clearly telling her to hold peace by not seeking to punish Deborah. He wanted this matter to come to an end.
Although Deborah had quit, every employee in the company thought Willow was the one who spread the rumors. They believed she had seduced Jasper, and she was someone who would do anything to get her way.
Her reputation had gone down the drain.
How could she just let it slide?
Since Mr. Fawcett was not going to set things right for her, she decided to go to Jasper. She would make him announce to the company that she was not the one who spread the rumors!
Feeling wronged, Willow made her way to the top floor.
However, Jasper was not in the office. He had yet to come in that morning.
Willow urgently wanted to clear her name. She called Tyson on the phone and asked him about Jasper's whereabouts.
She had to wait until he returned to the office.
Willow eased her mind and tried to calm down so that she could get back to work.
Soon, she managed to clean the restrooms on all floors of the building.
She waited for the elevator to head to the cleaning department. Coincidentally, that was when the CEO's private elevator stopped on the top floor. The door opened.
Jasper walked out. The air around him felt cold.
There was another man next to Jasper. He was tall and had a gloomy expression on his face.
That man was Jasper's grandfather, Frank Hughes.
Tyson walked carefully behind them.
