Skylar nodded. “Being able to think like that means Hector’s moved on.” 

“It was nothing much. What man hasn’t had a few injuries? If you haven’t broken a bone twice, you’re not a real man. Compared to me, his injuries are minor,” Caleb said with a slight lift of his chin, boasting a bit. 

He wasn’t happy seeing Skylar complimenting someone else. He had made a lot of progress recently too. 

Skylar could see Caleb’s thoughts and managed a smile. 

She said, “You’re right. You’re the bravest young man I’ve ever met, and you’re also very eager to learn. When you need to be steady, you can definitely hold your ground.”

When she arrived, she saw Joe was also there.

Joe saw the surprise on Skylar’s face and frowned slightly. He said, “Even if we start planning now, it’ll take at least a year to set a date. It’s the perfect time to start picking out a wedding dress.” 

“Alright, I’ll take a look at the wedding dresses,” Skylar replied. She noticed Joe’s frown and realized Gloria probably didn’t know about Joe’s desire to divorce her.

Not wanting to disappoint her, Skylar carefully examined the wedding dresses. 

Gloria smiled warmly and said, “Pick out a few, and I’ll have them sent to the Galaxy Villa. You can try them on one by one. If none of them feel right, we can bring in a designer from abroad. These wedding dresses are one–of–a–kind pieces from various designers. 

“Since they’ve been sent to me, no one else had worn them. For your wedding, the wedding dress must be truly unique.”
