The document contained details about Finn's daughter and records of Finn and Miriam's business dealings over the years.
Most of this information had been sourced by Paul, but Harvey had hacked into their company, which meant there might be more damning evidence to uncover.
When Harvey declared his intention to destroy them, it wasn't just empty talk.
Steven grabbed the document first, flipping through its pages. Charles joined him, sipping his drink while reading over Steven's shoulder. As they read, their expressions grew darker.
Charles clenched his teeth tightly, cursing, "Damn it!"
Steven's eyes were filled with fury. "They want our kidneys?"
"What do you mean? What kidneys?" Harvey asked, setting aside his laptop. He walked over, snatching the document from Steven's hands.
When his eyes fell on the contents, they widened in disbelief.
"They want us dead! Who gave them the audacity to do this? I wasn't planning to go this far, but if that's what they want, I'll grant their wish," Harvey said furiously.
He immediately pulled out his phone, barking orders, "Do exactly what we just discussed—release their company's criminal records online. Also, post the photos of Miriam in the hotel with that man.
"And Finn's? Release those too. Give me a few minutes, and I'll get Charles to send the money to get everything in motion."
Charles' hands shook as he held his phone, his mind racing. Hearing Harvey's words, he asked directly, "Will 10 million dollars be enough?"
"If it isn't, I'll throw in another 10 million," Skylar chimed in, seizing the opportunity.
She and Joe had just discussed the situation. Each of her brothers, as did Harvey, had their strengths. While Joe's connections could help turn things around, they had to decide how to handle this mess tactfully.
They cried and begged on the show, their voices trembling as they pleaded, "Please! You three are her only hope. She's so young, and all we're asking is for you to go to the hospital for a compatibility test.
"If you go to the hospital and get tested, we'll give you whatever you want as long as it's within our power to do so. Please, I'm begging you—she can't wait much longer!"
Anyone who was a parent would feel a pang in their heart watching that scene.
Watching this, Miriam smiled smugly and said to Finn, "The recording turned out great. I had someone send out the clip. Let's see if public opinion doesn't drown them."
Finn nodded in approval. "The production team even said they'd help contact Steven and the others later. They'll try to persuade them on our behalf."
"It's been four hours since the trending topic broke, and they still haven't responded or called you. Such heartless people! I'd like to see how long they can hold out—let's see if they can withstand the storm of online abuse."
