Kayson chuckled and said, “That‘s simple. I‘ll train them until they’ve advanced to become masters then.”

Felicity appeared to be pleasantly surprised. “Are you serious, Mr. Yarde? Can you really make them real masters?”

“Yes. However, I‘m afraid that they won‘t be able to catch up on their skills soon after they‘ve become masters.”

Kayson considered for a moment and said, “I think they will need to train for a few months. If someone is teaching them, perhaps they will be able to get accustomed to master–level skills in a few days.”

Felicity beamed with joy. “I can spend some time training them, but I will need your help to advance them to masters, Mr. Yarde!”

Otherwise, a late– or even a peak –level master would be

adequate for a vice–captain under normal circumstances. A captain would need to be a mid–level grandmaster.
