Kayson took a look at his wound and said, “I‘ll give you something to stop the bleeding and the pain.”

“It‘s okay. I‘m fine...” Felix was, after all, a fighter. Although he looked pale, he could still handle the pain.

“Let‘s go back to the hotel.”

Felix shook his head. “No. I need to get the Lightning Wood...”

Kayson chuckled. It seemed to him that Felix was truly a good grandson. Even though he was badly injured, he still remembered that his grandfather needed the Lightning Wood.

“I got the Lighting Wood. There is nothing on top of the mountain now.”

Slack–jawed, Felix said, “Really?”

Kayson nodded and said, “Let‘s go.”

Felix did not say anything and followed him this time.

He got to his feet and followed Kayson to the small town.

Qiana and the rest did not dare stop them. Lily gnashed her teeth and snarled, “What the hell is wrong with that guy?”

Qiana stared at Kayson‘s figure as a myriad of emotions flashed in her eyes.

‘Finn is an inner energy fighter, yet he stood no chance against

him at all. Just who the hell is he? Why is he so strong?‘

“The fighters guarding the mountain are gone...”

Qiana said, “There was a thunderstorm on top of the mountain just now. It was pretty scary, so I guess we shouldn‘t go up there anymore.”

Lily had seen the thunderstorm too, and since Finn was unconscious, she did not have the guts to go up there anymore.

She said, “You‘re right. Let‘s take Finn back to town. Then, we‘ll get someone to get rid of Kayson and that f*cker!”

Qiana did not say anything in return. She lowered her head and fell into contemplation.

Kayson had gotten quite a few high–quality herbs on his way down the mountain, so he used them to help Felix tend to his wound.

Kayson chuckled and said, “You don‘t have to go to the hospital. I can fix it.”

Felix was dumbfounded for a few seconds after he heard what Kayson had said. “Please stop teasing me, Mr. Yarde. There‘s no way such a thing could be done.”

After all, his bones were crushed.

Kayson did not want to explain any further, so he decided to show him the result right away.

Even though Felix did not believe him, he still went out of the room.

Kayson sat on the couch and pulled out the Evergreen Seed. He was going to extract the energy inside of the seed.

Very soon, the entire room was filled with a mist of green energy. If one looked from a distance, it would feel like Kayson was sitting inside a poisonous mist.

When all of the energy disappeared , Kayson opened his eyes.

“Finally!”

Kayson opened his palm and a glob of green energy that looked like fire hovered over his palm. He then got to his feet and went to Felix‘s room next door.
