Chapter 367
“Uh… I don’t think so… However, he sounded like he has a largely differing opinion of the Admiralpodium and you.”
Chief Rivera furrowed his eyebrows. Soon afterward, he gave the order. “Look into this matter. Naomi admires him very much. Both Stellar and the Living Reaper are so elusive. I’m afraid that I might die if I don’t do anything soon.
“Naomi is the Living Reaper’s mentee and is already exceptionally skilled in medical practice, yet she was ashamed of her inferiority. I believe that Kayson is quite capable.”
He had already consulted the third-ranking doctor in the Nation of Dragons, The Divine Hand, Joaquin Larson, but there was nothing Joaquin could do. Chief Rivera had noticed that his health was deteriorating in the past few months. Had he not stabilized his injuries with his outstanding stamina, he would have died by now.
“Yes, sir!”
Campian took on the task and went to investigate in haste.
Meanwhile…
Kayson was not lying to Campian. He indeed received an incoming call. The call came from Celeste. She claimed that her parents were very grateful for his help and wanted to thank him in person
Kayson could only agree now that her parents were involved.
He sent a text message to Sadie to tell her he would not be eating in tonight before meeting Celeste

She smiled and went straight to the point by asking, “Kayson, are you married?” Kayson considered for a moment and said, “No.” He figured that Sadie would be pissed again if he were to say yes. Cersei could not hide the joy in her eyes upon hearing his answer. Jamie let out a cough and said, “Why are you asking this when we’re supposed to buy Kayson dinner to thank him for saving us?” Cersei rolled her eyes at him. “You think that you’re sensible and respectful, huh? I’m just worried about our daughter’s marriage, unlike you!” Celeste blushed scarlet and said, “Stop talking, father and mother!” Kayson felt embarrassed and wondered whether that was how all the parents in the city behaved.
As Jamie was speaking, his phone rang. He pulled it out, took a glance, and said, “It’s from Lowe.”
“Why is he calling you?” Cersei seemed displeased. “You don’t have to pull a long face like this all the time. Lowe has never offended you.” Jamie appeared frustrated. Then, he picked up the call, spoke briefly, and told the private room location before hanging up the call. Cersei said in a displeased tone, “Why are they coming here?” Jamie said, “He claimed that he saw our car.” It did not take long before a few people entered the room. The leader, a middle-aged man, smiled and said, “Hahaha, Peach. I heard that my daughter-in -law is back, huh?”
