My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball Chapter 1367–Not Worth Lying
In the past, Rosalie did not care about telling Byron if she was going on a work trip.
However, she was still going on a work trip with Xander even when she knew Byron hated Xander. Thus, she felt she should tell him about it.
Over the past six years, she had gotten used to leaving anytime she wanted without caring about anyone else.
She would have forgotten if Nox had not reminded her.
Nox noticed the change on his mommy’s face. He knew what he said had taken effect and looked at Rosalie with expectation. He prayed silently, hoping their daddy would be there soon.
Rosalie pondered for a while before taking out her phone to dial Byron’s number.
Unexpectedly, just as she had found Byron’s number in her contact list, she heard a honk outside the villa.
Rosalie seemed to know it was Byron and kept her phone before walking out of the house with her suitcase.
The Bentley pulled over at her doorway. Byron wore a grey shirt, and his cuffs were folded up. He casually got out of the car and headed toward them.
“Why are you here?”
Rosalie felt an indescribable feeling rising in her when she saw him approaching.
Byron looked at Rosalie’s luggage and lifted his eyebrow. “What about you? Where are you going?”
Rosalie glanced at him and felt guilty when she remembered she was going on a work trip with Xander.
Before the children, she could not be so frank and said, “I am going to Hiro on a work trip and thought of letting you know, but you came in time.”
With that, Byron took her suitcase.
Rosalie’s brows furrowed, and she looked at him in a puzzle. ‘What’s going on?”
Byron carried her luggage into the car, and Rosalie followed him hesitantly.
Nox was relieved to see that his daddy had finally arrived. He made a grimace behind Rosalie and looked at Linda.
Rosalie sat in the passenger seat, thinking of what Byron had just said. She found it strange.
How could such a coincidence occur?
Before that, Byron had never mentioned going to Hiro.
However, Byron did not know she was going to Hiro before this either.
Rosalie looked through the rearview mirror. Byron was focused on driving and did not look like he was lying.
When Rosalie realized what she was thinking, she could not help but wonder why she would have such a thought.
Why would she think Byron was lying?
What was worth lying about?
