My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball novel Chapter 1217

Chapter 1217 What Happened to Them?

When Byron woke up the following day, Rosalie had already woken up and was taking the acupuncture needles off her body.

Byron looked at his empty hand and the woman before him as he asked in his horse voice, “When did you wake up? Why didn’t you wake me?”

Rosalie was focusing on taking off the acupuncture needles. She knew he was awake when she heard his voice. After hesitating for a moment, she continued doing what she was doing as she answered.

‘You were fast asleep, and I was fine, so I didn’t call you.”

She did not even look at Byron when she spoke.

Rosalie felt as though she was in a dream when she saw Byron’s hand holding hers as he lay by the bed when she woke up that morning.

Rosalie’s mind was a mess when she heard his voice.

‘What are you doing?”

Byron pressed his temples and sat upright gradually. His forehead puckered when he saw her movement.

Rosalie looked calmly at the silver needle on the acupoint and pulled it out. “I examined myself and felt acupuncture could help me with detoxing.”

Rosalie did not know what he was thinking and answered calmly, “I’m much better now, and the remaining toxins have dispersed out of my body.”

Suddenly, something struck Rosalie, and her gaze on Byron changed.

Byron noticed her gaze, and he frowned. ‘Yes?”

Rosalie felt guilty looking at him like that and pretended to be calm as she said, “Nothing. I’m just a little worried about the kids. How are they?”

She remembered Byron had brought all the kids to the ward last night.

The little ones must have been very worried when they knew she was so ill.

Rosalie vaguely remembered that last night before going to bed, she seemed to hear the voices of the little ones.

She even heard a cute voice that sounded like her deceased daughter in her dream…
