"JAZE!" Lydoran bellows directly after getting back inside again. His voice echoes around the
mansion. "Jaze!" he shouts again after entering the little library.
"WHAT!" Jaze shouts back slightly annoyed. Following the sound, they find him sitting in the
entertainment room, leisurely spread out on the couch, watching some action movie. Tilting his
head slightly to the side he sees them approach from the corner of his eyes.
"We need to move and now." Lydoran speaks with finality in his voice and that is enough to get
Jaze’s undivided attention. "Elmir has found her."
Jaze stands up and notice for the first time the state Lyra's in and he doesn't like what he sees.
"What happened?"
"This was just delivered here and its addressed to Lyra. We can't stay here any longer." handing
over the note and collar to Jaze he proceeds to gently lay Lyra down in the couch Jaze just
vacated. When he makes moves to straighten out, she reaches out and grab hold of his hand as
if to silently beg for him to stay. "I will be right back, love. I promise." Gently he strokes her
cheek, willing her with his eyes to let go. That she will be safe.
"That fucker is so dead. I'm going to beat his ass before letting the little fucker bleed out, cause
there's no way I'll drink his filthy blood."
"You can't do that." Lyra's soft voice is a mere whisper.
"I can and I will. He has hurt you too many times and I refuse to let him just take you away or
threaten you as he pleases." Jaze argues, upset by the whole thing.
"I simply want to be the one raining revenge down on him." she answers with a meager smile
but a smile none the less. Hearing her wishes his next speech about killing Elmir evaporates into
thin air and understanding shines in his dark eyes. He kneels next to the couch and envelopes
her in a sloppy hug. "We will stand behind you when you do." he encourages.
"We will always stand behind you, no matter where you are or where you go." Lydoran finishes
upon returning. He drops several well packed bags to the floor. "I called my blood father to
inform him about recent happenings and our hasty departure. He has provided us with a new
house approximately eight hours from here, give or take an hour or two. It will be ready by the
time we get there." he speaks while fiddling with his phone, fingers moving across the display in
a fast pace and face creased into concentrated expression.
Jaze looks up. "Have you packed for all of us?"
Wrapping up whatever he is doing on the phone a mumbled "Yes." comes out between his lips
but whether or not he is aware what he just answered to is unknown. For now, both Lyra and
Jaze takes for granted that their friend has full control of the situation and aims to simply go
with the flow.
"Did you pack food for all of us as well or are we eating as we go?" Jaze tries again and gets a
more coherent replay this time. "Packed blood but we will have to stop along the way for
food." Lydoran finally puts the phone away and looks at them both. "This will be a long ride
since we will only use back roads to avoid eyes on us." he explains. Lyra nods her head in
understanding and Jaze grunts tiredly but ends up nodding in the end.
"We are here."
"Already?" suddenly all traces of sleep are gone from the system and eagerness has taken its
place. Taking help from Jaze, Lyra steps out of the car on wobbly and stiff legs. Stretching out
she looks around curiously. They are surrounded by trees, lots of trees so safe to say it’s a
secluded area. In front of her stands a two-story Victorian house painted in ruby red and black.
It looks warm and inviting. Balcony entirely in glass with pillars. Carved wooden details adorns
the windows and doors.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Lydoran asks from behind her. "This has four bedrooms on the upper floor a
large sitting room connected to the balcony and next to that is a music room. Two rooms have
connected bathroom’s and then there is another in the hallway. Kitchen and dining area on the
first floor. Sitting room there as well, study, library and entertainment room. Everything is
modern so no worries."
Stepping inside she is taken by its beauty once again. Black and silver wallpapers in the hallway.
Heavy velvet curtains in classic red. Black furniture and polished wooden floor, also dark. Every
room seems to have something red, something black and something silver. That's the three
solid colors but mixed with different ones throughout the house. Heavy furniture that matches
the house age wise. Lyra pics a room with black sheets, cream colored walls, reddish/brown
colored furniture and deep blue curtains. Large fire place adorns one of the four walls.
"Welcome to your new home." she whispers softly to herself.
