"Are you deaf? I said no! I will never sleep with you. Go to hell!" Minnie's face fumed red as she swatted his hands away. She jumped off the bed and left the room quickly.

Although she liked Peter, she was not ready to have sex with him.

Peter sighed as he looked at her retreating figure. He shook his head and walked towards the bed. He propped himself up on a pillow and closed his eyes.

Initially, he just wanted to make fun of Minnie. He had no intention of sleeping with her at all.

The next morning, Peter headed for Silverland Group like he usually did. However, something was different. When he was about to enter the office, he saw a group of strangers crowding by the middle.

He didn't try to pay mind to it. He passed by the bodyguards near the entrance and went inside the building. Someone shouted at him just as he got inside.

"Hey! Wait! Stop!" The new guards stopped him.

"Who are you? What are you doing here? Who are you looking for? Do you have an appointment?" one of them asked Peter harshly.

Peter was stunned. 'These new recruits haven't been trained well. How dare they not know who I am!' he thought to himself.

"What are you doing? He's the Director of the Security Department, Peter Wang! He's our boss, dipshit!" Several senior security guards ran towards them and reprimanded them immediately.

"The Director of the Security Department? Wow! So you're the big fish around here?" the guard sneered and looked at Peter disdainfully. He made sure not to pay his boss any respect.

"The Director of the Security Department, eh? Did you become director because your female boss promoted you?"

"Haha! I really admire his ability! Seems like he's really good at sucking up to his boss!"

The other two security guards cheered the noisy one on as he finished talking.

The senior guards gasped at their audacity. "How dare you!" They were furious. 'How could they humiliate our boss?'

Peter frowned, but seemed to be unbothered.

"Who are these people?" Peter turned to the senior staff and asked.

"I'm sorry, sir. These are the new security guards, hired by Mr. Song," one of them replied immediately.

"Mr. Song?" Peter questioned, before eventually making sense out of all of it. Mr. Song was Rex Song, Bella's father.

"Yes, sir. Mr. Song hired twelve new security guards in total. Six of them are stationed to guard Miss Song," he replied.

Peter's frown turned sour as he heard this.

'What's wrong? Why did Rex hire these security guards? Why did he do this, at this time?'

It took him a while, but eventually, he started to understand. 'It must be because of Robin. He must have asked Rex to do this.

Bella would never agree if Robin asked her to do that.

Damn. I underestimated him.

But why would Robin have to do this? Does he want to really want to control Bella? Or is he after the Silverland Group?' Peter was trying to put his head around it. Whatever it was, he had every intention to ruin his plans.

'What a waste of a good morning too!' he thought. He decided to find Bella first before anything else. However, he was stopped again just as he made to leave.

"What? Where are you going? You're not allowed to come in."

"You've been fired! There's a new boss now. Didn't you know that? You don't work here anymore! Fuck off, right now!"

"You're not the Director of the Security Department any longer!"

the three new security guards screamed arrogantly.

"Fuck off, huh?" Peter's face changed.

At the moment, he was really worried about Bella. He was furious.

His skull cracked from the impact as blood splashed the walls.

His head was squashed, while his mouth was wide open from shock.

The man fell on the floor and passed out immediately.

The others were dumbfounded. They couldn't believe their eyes.

"H-how dare you! You're courting death!"

As they quickly came to their senses, they immediately charged at Peter.

They were very experienced hitmen. They thought that nobody would be a match for them.

"You fuck off!"

Peter retorted and kicked the first man to approach him.

The man was hit directly on his belly. He flew from the impact on his body, before falling down on the ground harshly. His mouth started to fill with blood.

'Fuck, this is so painful!'

Somehow, it seemed that he was not hit by Peter, but a giant rock!

The other man was stunned. 'Oh my god! He is too strong!' he thought to himself.

"What? You still want to fight me?" Peter challenged him, looking straight through him.

"N-no..." He replied in a trembling voice. He didn't expect that Peter was so skilled. He injured his two partners without the slightest resistance or effort.

"Then take your partners and leave! Tell your master who the real Director of Silverland Group's Security Department is. If he even dares to make trouble here again, I will kill all of his men."
