Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back novel Chapter 78

It was Justin.

At this moment, Adam suddenly felt extremely grateful for Justin's sudden appearance. It was so lucky that Justin punched Kevin and took Rebecca away. Otherwise, he couldn't bear to think what that jerk would have done to her. He also couldn't imagine what Rebecca would do to herself if Kevin had done something to her.

Thinking about this, he even wanted to give himself a big slap in the face. Why did he leave her alone in the lobby bar? He knew clearly what kind of people would go to the Wonderland Club. Few of them were decent people. Most of them would do horrible things to women, bully others, and might even break the law. There was nothing those people wouldn't do.

"I know who he is. You don't have to go with me. I can go by myself." Adam told the driver to stop the car and let his friend out.

"You know him. That's good. He won't do anything to your wife, will he?" The friend looked at Adam and asked with concern.

"No, he's Rebecca's classmate."

"That's good." A friend patted Adam on the arm. "Let me know if you need help."

"Okay." Adam nodded and watched his friend leave. Then, he asked the driver to drive them back to the Finger Lakes first. He remembered hearing from Rebecca that Justin's hotel was located in that area. He took out his phone and asked his assistant to find Justin's phone number.

...

Justin and Rebecca were about to arrive at the hotel when the phone in his pocket suddenly rang.

He took it out and saw an unknown number on the screen.

Justin guessed that it was probably Adam.

Besides, he really wanted to see if it was Adam and whether Adam still cared about Rebecca. He chose to answer the phone.

"Where's my wife?" As soon as the call was connected, Adam's intense and cold voice came through the line.

Justin suddenly laughed hearing Adam referred to Rebecca as his wife so naturally. He felt jealous and upset.

"Adam, if you fucking treat Rebecca like your wife even a little bit, you won't let that jerk, Kevin, took her away."

"I'm asking you. Where is my wife?" On the other end of the phone, Adam held the phone tightly, and the veins on his forehead were throbbing.

"Hah..." Justin sneered. "Adam, find her yourself if you really want to know where she is!"

Justin hung up the phone and drove to the hotel after saying so.

Not long after, the car arrived at the hotel. Justin got out of the car and handed the key to the Valet. Then, he went around to the passenger seat and carried Rebecca out.

Rebecca was so wasted that she couldn't be sober and get out of the car. She curled up in the passenger seat and didn't move. She snorted a little when Justin reached out to carry her. She started to bury herself in his arms when she felt the heat coming from his body.

"Blaargh..."

However, after she rubbed her face on his chest a few times, just as when Justin was about to walk into the hotel, Rebecca vomited all over him.

...

Justin took a quick shower for five or six minutes. He washed his body and hair thoroughly, walked out of the bathroom, and wrapped himself in another bathrobe.

Wrapped in a bathrobe, he saw that the other bathroom door was still closed. He took out a cigarette and walked to the living room. He lit it up and smoked it hard, regardless of whether his short hair was still dripping water.

In fact, the more Adam ignored Rebecca, the happier he should be.

However, he felt angry and upset when he saw Adam abandoning her and letting her be drunk. He also felt furious thinking about how Rebecca was almost taken away and got raped by that jerk.

Rebecca was such a good woman. She was hardworking and kind to everyone. She would help every student in the college if they needed help. Even if she was not rich, she secretly donated five thousand dollars when one of their classmates had leukemia. However, she was reluctant to buy any expensive clothes for herself, and she always ate at the school Cafe.

She shouldn't be mistreated by a man like Adam. She deserved someone better.

"Sir, we've already bathed the lady and put on her bathrobe for her. Should we put her in bed?" The hotel staff came out of the bathroom and said respectfully to Justin when he was still thinking about Rebecca.

"It's okay. I'll do it!" As he spoke, Justin pressed out the half-smoked cigarette on the ashtray in front of him, then strode into the bathroom and picked up Rebecca. One of the staff was helping her to stand straight.

"You've done great. You can leave now. Thank you." Justin said to the staff while he was picking up Rebecca.

They nodded, took Rebecca's clothes, and left the room.
