Chapter 350
Keegan turned around, and at the entrance was a little girl around five or six wearing a red cap She called out to him with a smile in her eyes. She was frail and skinny with short hair. Her eyes were big and expressive,
Keegan pressed his lips together. “What did you call me?”
The kid pouted and replied, “Uncle Keegan,”
Only then did Keegan beckon her. “Come here.”
The little girl walked over and sat on his lap. “Could you change the color next time? The hat is very ugly. They said when I wear it, I look like the matchsticks in the little matchstick girl’s hand.”
Keegan took a closer look and commented, “It’s quite similar, but there were only two colors. The other one was black.”
“Then I want the black one,” the little girl replied.
“Then wouldn’t you look like a burnt matchstick?” Keegan teased.
Coco was at a loss for words.
“Have you made up with Aunt Stella?” Coco asked with her hands wrapped around his neck. Keegan paused and replied, “Who told you we were fighting?”
“Uncle Aldor said so.” The little girl huffed. “If he didn’t say so, I wouldn’t have noticed. The clothes you wore these few times had a different smell from before. They don’t have the nice smell Aunt Stella had.”
Saying this, she took a whiff. “There is none today too.’
Keegan pinched her nose. “You can even smell this out?”
The little girl smiled with her eyes. “Aunt Stella definitely had a fight with you, so you’re not allowed into the bedroom.”
After saying this, she sighed. “Why have you learned nothing? When can I get a younger sister or brother?”
“Then the number of people you have seen might be quite low.” While saying this, Coco flipped through the phone and showed the picture Stella had posted on social media for the nurse to see. “My Uncle Keegan’s wife is better-looking.” The nurse was left speechless.
Aldor was anxiously pacing outside the outpatient department. The woman queueing next to him could not help but say, “Young man, you should stop pacing. All your pacing is making me dizzy.”
Aldor then said apologetically, “I’m sorry, miss. I’m just worried.”
The woman smiled. “You’re worried your wife is sick? No need to worry. Young people usually don’t have any major diseases. For breast nodules, the chance of mastitis is higher. As long as you eat your medication on time and readjust your mood, you’ll heal very soon.”
Aldor choked and coughed. “It’s my boss’ wife.”
The woman probably had never seen this type of situation. She was shocked for a long while and then proceeded to say, “It’s your boss’ wife, and he made you come here and wait? What’s your relationship with her?”
Aldor was at a loss for words. Then he thought, ‘What is this woman imagining?’
At the same time, Keegan arrived. Aldor did not want to speak any further and quickly went to meet him.
