Cordelia held Stella and comforted her for some time.

Stella “sobbed” for a long time. She never mentioned Keegan, yet every sentence she spoke was about him.

If he still feels nothing for me after spending the next three months together, it means that we’re not meant to be, and there’s no need for this marriage. I don’t want to trap myself in a loveless marriage because of a child. It’s still early, and we’d still be able to get an abortion by then. After that, we can move on with our lives.” 1
