Leighton’s face darkened as he stared at Nicole. “I didn’t quit because I can’t handle the role. I quit because I don’t want to act with you as my partner.”

“You said the same thing last time, yet you couldn’t even nail a simple kissing scene. You kept bumping into my teeth. It’s been two years since then. Have you finally figured out how to handle kissing scenes?” Nicole asked with a smile.

Stella was shocked to hear that she said that in front of everyone. Leighton seemed to take Nicole’s words to heart, and his expression grew even more unpleasant.

Leighton was a top-tier idol, and Nicole was the youngest three-time award-winning actress. Both of them had high national recognition. No one dared to intervene in their conversation. Rather, they were glad to not be involved in the drama.

Estelle was terrified when she noticed that Leighton was on the verge of exploding. Stella gently tugged at his arm and whispered, “Don’t be rash. You’ve portrayed this role brilliantly. Are you sure you want to give it up?”

“Stella, my engagement ring has been deformed,” said Keegan.

Stella paused before responding, “I’ll take it to get repaired for you when I have some free time in the next couple of days.”

Keegan pursed his lips and said, “The gold is too soft; the ring is likely to change its shape again even if you get it fixed.
