Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time novel Chapter 745

Chapter 745

Janice, Logan, and their relatives kept completely quiet amid the buzz of whispers sweeping across the ballroom.

Rex, Daphne, and Yale also said nothing, their minds still reeling under the weight of everything they had just learned.

Shock hung thick in the air, holding nearly every guest frozen in place.

Then one attendee’s eyes suddenly lit up as a half-forgotten old memory surfaced in his mind. He raised his voice enough for those nearby to catch every word.

“I remember hearing faint rumors ages ago that Cole Corporation was built by two students under Professor Nolan. If Maggie is the company’s second co-founder, does that mean Maggie is also—”

Every single person within earshot picked up on that unfinished thought.

Janice, Logan, Yale, Daphne, and Levi all snapped out of their stunned daze at once.

Every head turned sharply toward Johnny and Maggie. Even Dr. Mercer wore a look of genuine astonishment on his face.

Another guest pressed forward, curiosity burning in his tone.

“Mr. Gray, is that really true? Is Maggie actually one of Professor Nolan’s students too?”

Dozens of pairs of eyes locked onto Johnny, waiting for his official answer. A faint knowing smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.

“That is exactly right. You have a good memory. Beyond being my business partner, Maggie is also my junior fellow student under Nolan.”

Another wave of shocked gasps rolled through the grand venue right after his statement.

“It all clicks into place now,” one guest murmured out loud. “I always wondered why Maggie showed up alongside Johnny every time Nolan hosted industry dinners. At that big award ceremony for Maggie not long ago, Nolan personally came just to hand her the trophy. Everyone used to assume he was just fond of her as his student’s wife. Turns out the whole story was something entirely different.”

Once the initial wave of disbelief faded, Rex and Yves connected all those scattered old clues as well.

Yves swallowed hard, his mind racing through past events. He leaned over toward Rex in a hushed, bewildered tone.

“Does that mean your father has known all of this insider information this whole time?”

Rex could not find any words to respond. Deep down, he already knew the answer had to be yes.

The surrounding crowd fell dead silent again as everyone hung onto his every word.

“All of you have watched Cole Corporation’s explosive growth over these past two years with your own eyes. For the longest time, the whole industry credited every win entirely to me. But…”

Johnny trailed off for a brief moment, and the audience instantly grasped where he was heading. Fresh murmurs and amazed exclamations rippled across the ballroom floor.

“Shortly after Maggie rejoined the team, she steered Cole Corporation straight up to its current impressive position. Countless groundbreaking technical innovations under her leadership have turned heads and drawn widespread admiration from competitors all over the tech world. Most of you have at least some idea of just how many major breakthroughs we are talking about.”

Johnny gave a quiet, confident smile before continuing his speech to the assembled crowd.

“So I think everyone in this room now understands exactly how extraordinary she really is.”

People outside the tech circle might struggle to fully grasp the scale of her accomplishments, but every industry insider stood utterly blown away by both Maggie’s and Johnny’s capabilities.

To build Cole Corporation from a small startup into one of the world’s most elite technical teams within such a short window was nothing short of extraordinary.

Pulling off that level of success demanded absolute top-tier expertise across mathematics, complex algorithm design, hardware cost optimization, engineering workflow efficiency, and high-level team management for both of them.
