Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time novel Chapter 736

Chapter 736

Chapter 736

“She kept scheming to bully and destroy the woman he truly loved. Now she parades around acting as the rightful

wife. When it comes to shamelessness, no one can top her!”

Daphne’s words sent another wave of shock rolling through the ballroom.

“So Maggie clawed her way into marriage like that? If this is true, even though Julia was the other woman… maybe

there is more to the story?”

“Exactly. Franklin never loved her. She used dirty tricks to force him into marriage. When Franklin fell for Julia and tried to get a divorce so he could be with her openly, Maggie clung on and refused to sign the papers. What other choice did Franklin and Julia even have?”

“That makes total sense. I bet Franklin treats Julia so well partly out of guilt, trying to make it up to her for all the cruel

labels she’s had to bear.”

“No wonder at these fancy galas, even when both Franklin and Maggie showed up, even with business ties between Cole Corporation and Wilson Group, Franklin would act as if Maggie did not exist. Now it all clicks.”

Rex, Jimmy, Glen, and Yale all heard every word Daphne spoke.

The second Daphne started laying out Maggie’s alleged schemes, Yves’ mouth fell completely open.

He grabbed Rex’s arm, too eager to miss a single explosive detail to interrupt. He held his tongue until Daphne seemed

to finish her rant.

He leaned toward Rex, barely containing his excitement.

“Holy hell. This is the wildest drama I have ever witnessed. I feel like I’m dreaming. I’ve never stumbled across this much juicy gossip all at once. Thank god I showed up tonight. If I’d skipped this event, I would’ve missed out on so

much.”

Rex let out a quiet hum and broke into a genuine, relieved smile..

Seeing Rex’s obvious relief, Yves laughed and clapped him lightly on the chest.

“Your mood flipped real fast.”

Yves had watched Rex’s utter disbelief, his stunned, grim expression, when everyone first thought Julia had knowingly gotten involved with a married man.

He could understand the shift.

Chapter 736

In Rex’s eyes, Julia was brilliant, talented, charismatic, and sharp-witted.

To him, she had always seemed almost perfect.

It was only natural he could not wrap his head around the idea of her being the other woman.

Rex said nothing, yet amusement glinted in his eyes as he looked over toward Julia.

He had truly been shaken just moments earlier. Even as Daphne began speaking, he had still struggled to process

everything. But now, he could not hold back his smile.

He spoke softly, his gaze fixed on Julia.

“I knew it. She is not that kind of person.”

Yves nodded in agreement, genuinely happy for him.
