Chapter 561
Nobody was all frat intrested influga smation, though. Ne conversation moved on pretty quickly
Around noon, oner Harry had wrapped up his chat with someone, Daphne walked over. “Wit to grab lunte ipsther?
Harry’s tone was polite but distant. “Sorry, I’ve already got smeeting over lunch?
Daphne didn’t miss a beat. “No worries, maybe next time.”
The “meeting” was obviously made up. Harry ended up having lunch with Maggie and the rest of their group, though there were plenty of people w the
After the conference wrapped, that same evening, Maggie and Johnny caught a flight back to New York.
Harry, Daphne, Kex, and the others were all reading back that night too, so they ended up on the same flight.
Which meant they all ran into each other on the plane.
Harry hadn’t had many chances to talk to Maggie over the past two days, so running into her now put him in a good mood. He smiled. “Smail world
Maggie gave a nod.
Glen, on the other hand, was not pleased. “Excuse me, could you move?”
Harry was about to say something when Rex and Jack showed up.
Jack looked around. “Everyone’s here, huh.”
Harry didn’t want to keep blocking the aisle. He nodded to Maggie and Johnny, then headed back to his own seat.
Rex and Maggie’s group had barely crossed paths during the conference. Now that they were face to face, Rex gave Johnny a nod. “Mr. Gray.”
As for Maggie, he looked right through her like she wasn’t there.
Johnny pressed his lips together and nodded back without a word.
Jack’s seat happened to be right next to Harry’s. When Daphne found out, she asked Jack to switch with her.
Jack had noticed that his sister seemed genuinely interested in Harry over the past couple days. He paused. “Are you serious about this?”
“I want to see if there’s a shot.”

Sure, Harry had someone he liked. But how would she know she didn’t have a chance if she never tried?
Jack thought Harry was a solid guy. If she wanted to go for it, he was all for it.
Daphne settled into Jack’s seat and turned to Harry. “Hey, funny running into you.”
Harry gave a small nod.
“I heard you weren’t originally on this flight. What made you switch?”
She’d looked into his travel plans earlier and found out they were on different flights, so she’d changed hers the night before to match his. But then at lunch today she found out he’d already switched flights that very morning.
Harry had switched flights, of course, because of…
He glanced toward Maggie without making it obvious.
His voice came out flat. “That’s my personal business. I don’t think I owe Miss Everly an explanation.”

Hearing that. Daphne figured he’d right through her and was using the cold shoulder to make his feelings diege.
Cheerarted way something. But Marry cut in, his tone still even. “Miss Everly, it not really up for conversation right now. I’d like to get some rest
Daphne paused, then smiled. “Of course I won’t bother you Get some rest.”
Across the aisle.
Maggie and Johnny had been running on fumes for two days straight. It wasn’t early anymore, and they were both exhausted. Not long after the plane took off they reclined their seats and went to sleep.
Three hours later, the plane touched down without a hitch.
As Maggie, Johnny, Glen, and the others came out wheeling their luggage, they naturally crossed paths with Harry and Rex’s group again.
Maggie and Johnny were mid conversation when they spotted Yale heading toward Rex.
That’s when they realized that Yale had apparently jumped ship recently and gone to work for Rex

She and isabella hadn’t seen each other in several days. But Isabella had known about the work trip and knew when she was coming terk
So that afternoon. Maggie got a call from her. Isabella said she’d swing by the Miller place after school, then asked, Mons, you’re been so buy for o sa Can you come pick me up from school tonight? Like early?”
Maggie knew she was right. It had been a while since she’d done the school pickup run.
And when she got wrapped up in work, she really did go stretches without reaching out to Isabella much.
“Okay, I got it,” she said. “Mom will be there to pick you up.”
They chatted for a few more minutes, then she hung up.
True to her word, that afternoon she grabbed her keys, left the office early, and headed to the school to pick Isabella up
Isabella was thrilled, and immediately latched onto Maggie, begging her to cook something good for dinner,
Maggie said yes. Not long after they got back to the Miller place, she was already in the kitchen getting to work.

The readers' comments on the novel: Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time
Alguém saberia dizer o que houve com o livro, sem atualização a tempos...
Nada de episódio novo?...
Does the book stop? When are we going to get a new chapter?...
Olá, A história parou no capítulo 288? O nome do livro me gerou mais expectativas, quando ela realmente vai desprezar os dois e brilhar???...
Everytime I read new updates I am hoping to see Maggie completely moving on with her life not always checking where Franklin is up to with Julia. I think everyone reading this story by now understand that Franklin doesn't care about Julia. So what is the point of always pointing out how indifferent Franklin is to Maggie and how attentive he is towards Julia....
What does Helen mean Maggie is still married? Married to whom? Franklin has made it clear that he doesn't consider her anything and is flaunting his relationship with Julia for anyone who has eyes to witness it.So Maggie should wait for the divorce to be finalized to date. Isn't that double standards. And Franklin is dragging the divorce deliberately since divorced or not he does what he wants without any consequences. Really women are emotionally oppressed even authors only know that point of view 😕...
I feel sad for Maggie and all married women who have to endure emotional abuse with no end in sight. By the look of it,Franklin doesn't want to divorce Maggie for whatever reason. Either the reason is good or bad, Maggie shouldn't be humiliated like this just because she loves him. And the grandmother should be helping her get a divorce not emotionally blackmailing her, if she really cared about her. Franklin is using Maggie's love for the grandmother to abuse her. Is really loving people wrong? Author this one-sided hurt is not right. Let Maggie move on with dignity. It shouldn't end up with Franklin professing his love for her and her accepting it....
