Chapter 361
It was Sunday at noon.
Glen was busy looking at his phone. His friend leaned over to take a look.
Seeing what was on the screen, his friend groaned, “Come on, it’s the weekend now. The salary Cole pays you shouldn’t require you to work on Saturdays and Sundays, right? I thought you were wracking your brain trying to ask that Miss Miller out.”
Glen was improving himself; it had nothing to do with Cole.
He said nothing in response to his friend’s words.
Before he knew Maggie hadn’t divorced yet, he basically spent almost every week trying hard to ask her out.
But Maggie said she hadn’t officially divorced.
Although from what she said, it seemed she and her husband had reached the divorce stage, the divorce was not yet finalized…
Seeing Glen lost in thought and silent, his friend knocked on the table:
“What’re you thinking about just sitting there like that?”
Glen came back to his senses.
He had thought Maggie was already divorced and hadn’t given much thought to her husband.
But since learning she hadn’t divorced yet, and that her husband was preparing to divorce her, some thoughts began to emerge.
He and Maggie had known each other for a while. In his eyes, Maggie was kind, beautiful, easy to get along with, and talented.
Suddenly, he kind of wanted to know what kind of man her husband was.
What kind of man could let go of such a perfect, wonderful woman like Maggie?
Thinking this, he was about to ask his friend to help investigate her husband carefully, but before he could speak,
someone called out to him:
“Glen?”
Glen looked up.

Mr. CEO. Your Wife Has Wanted Divorce for a Long Time
Chapter 361
It was Julia.
Julia smiled and walked over:
“Out so early having fun? I thought you hadn’t gotten up yet
Glen glanced at her with a neutral tone:
“Is there something you need?”
Since Glen joined Cole, they had rarely met privately.
After learning she was with Franklin, Glen had adopted a cold attitude toward her.
Julia didn’t think much of it and said,
“Your sister contacted me a few days ago again, saying they still hope you’ll go back home to help, but no matter what, you just won’t listen…”
She sat down and continued,
“Glen, you’ve been out for several months now. Staying at Cole like this isn’t really a solution. Maybe you should-”
Hearing this, Glen paused. He didn’t quite understand why someone who also liked AI as much as she did, after realizing how impressive Cole was, would still advise him to return and inherit the family business.
But he didn’t want to argue with her, interrupting,
“This is between me and my family. I can handle it myself.”
Julia looked a bit displeased, but since Glen said this, she didn’t press further and just said,
“I can understand why you don’t want to leave Cole. After all, I’ve always wanted to get in there myself… It’s just that
I heard your father hasn’t been in good health lately…”
Glen said,
“I know.”
Julia nodded,
“Good.”
At this moment, Glen’s friend chimed in, making small talk,
“Miss Brown, you came alone? Where’s Mr. Wilson?”
“With my family,” Julia took the tea he handed her and replied,
“As for Franklin, he’s gone on a business trip abroad, won’t be back for a few days.”
“Oh, I see.”
Just then, Rex walked over quickly and said,
“Miss Brown, what a coincidence.”
Julia nodded and smiled,
“It is a bit of a coincidence.”
Seeing Jimmy behind him, she greeted warmly,
“Mr. Hall’s here too? Long time no see.”
Jimmy nodded silently but looked toward Glen, who was sitting nearby.
Julia noticed and introduced,
“This is Glen. Glen, this is-”
But at that moment, Jimmy and Glen were looking at each other with unreadable expressions.
Before Julia could finish introducing, they both interrupted her simultaneously,
“We know each other.”
Not only Julia, but even Rex was surprised.
In their impression, these two shouldn’t have met before.

Alguém saberia dizer o que houve com o livro, sem atualização a tempos...
Nada de episódio novo?...
Does the book stop? When are we going to get a new chapter?...
Olá, A história parou no capítulo 288? O nome do livro me gerou mais expectativas, quando ela realmente vai desprezar os dois e brilhar???...
Everytime I read new updates I am hoping to see Maggie completely moving on with her life not always checking where Franklin is up to with Julia. I think everyone reading this story by now understand that Franklin doesn't care about Julia. So what is the point of always pointing out how indifferent Franklin is to Maggie and how attentive he is towards Julia....
What does Helen mean Maggie is still married? Married to whom? Franklin has made it clear that he doesn't consider her anything and is flaunting his relationship with Julia for anyone who has eyes to witness it.So Maggie should wait for the divorce to be finalized to date. Isn't that double standards. And Franklin is dragging the divorce deliberately since divorced or not he does what he wants without any consequences. Really women are emotionally oppressed even authors only know that point of view 😕...
I feel sad for Maggie and all married women who have to endure emotional abuse with no end in sight. By the look of it,Franklin doesn't want to divorce Maggie for whatever reason. Either the reason is good or bad, Maggie shouldn't be humiliated like this just because she loves him. And the grandmother should be helping her get a divorce not emotionally blackmailing her, if she really cared about her. Franklin is using Maggie's love for the grandmother to abuse her. Is really loving people wrong? Author this one-sided hurt is not right. Let Maggie move on with dignity. It shouldn't end up with Franklin professing his love for her and her accepting it....
