Chapter 323
Maggie didn’t say anything more and stepped past them into the conference room.
The scene of her speaking with Franklin at the doorway had been noticed by several people inside, but since no one really knew what kind of relationship the two had, most just assumed it was a routine greeting. No one gave it a second thought.
Except for Jolinny, who knew the truth.
When she returned to her seat, he leaned over and whispered, “Did you two argue?”
Maggie shook her head. “No.”
Even at the peak of their tension–when things between them were at their worst–they never really fought. Let alone now.
Now that Cole and Wilson Corp had officially begun collaborating, Maggie spent almost the entire day on–site at Wilson Corp.
Around 5 p.m., an excited outburst suddenly came from the meeting room.
“Holy crap, it actually worked!”
“Huh? What happened?”
“The model we built before wasn’t ideal–Ms. Miller thought so too. We discussed it last week, and in the past few days we made improvements across the board: from the algorithm to the data, and even the model architecture. Now the efficiency has improved significantly! That bottleneck we’ve been stuck on for nearly two years is just… gone!”
Another team member added, “And the long–standing issue with modality alignment–we’ve made progress there too. Seriously, Ms. Miller is amazing!”
For context, Wilson Corp was one of the most prestigious tech firms in the country. Everyone present was already considered top–tier talent–experts that the company had paid handsomely to recruit.
In other words, these were people who were both publicly and privately confident in their skills.
But only now were they realizing what it meant to truly encounter someone on another level entirely.
The tech staff looked at Maggie with admiration practically glowing in their eyes. One of them rushed over and shook her hand enthusiastically. “No wonder you were first author on that long–form NLP paper–Ms. Miller, you’re brilliant!”

Mr.CEO, Your Wife Has Wantedla Divorce for a Long Time
Chapter 323
Maggie gave a small smile and was just about to speak when she suddenly caught sight of Julia standing behind them.
Her smile froze slightly,
At that moment, a few of the more excited techies also noticed her.
“Miss Brown? When did you get here?”
Before Julia could answer, Professor Liam chuckled and said “Miss Brown’s been here for a while now. You were all just so engrossed, none of you even noticed there was someone behind you.”
Julia simply smiled, saying nothing.
But if one looked closely, they’d notice her smile was a little forced.
As Professor Liam had said, she had been there for a while.
She had also witnessed part of the process–how the elite tech staff of Wilson Corp were actively seeking Maggie out for guidance.
Julia could follow some of their thought processes–she wasn’t entirely out of her depth.
But Maggie was clearly on another level.
She would glance at the screen once and instantly identify the issue, then offer precise solutions–so fast that even
Wilson Corp’s senior techs could barely keep up.
Let alone Julia…
The breakthrough had the tech team so energized they were eager to keep discussing what made the solution so elegant. Just as someone was about to elaborate on the cleverness of the fix, a calm voice cut in:
“Everyone’s excited–what’s the buzz about?”
It was Franklin.
His presence as the CEO of Wilson Corp didn’t intimidate the team. One of them was about to explain when Julia spoke up first:
“Done with your meeting?”
Franklin gave a short “mm” in response and was about to join the conversation when he noticed the expression on
her face.
“You don’t look well. Are you feeling sick?”

Alguém saberia dizer o que houve com o livro, sem atualização a tempos...
Nada de episódio novo?...
Does the book stop? When are we going to get a new chapter?...
Olá, A história parou no capítulo 288? O nome do livro me gerou mais expectativas, quando ela realmente vai desprezar os dois e brilhar???...
Everytime I read new updates I am hoping to see Maggie completely moving on with her life not always checking where Franklin is up to with Julia. I think everyone reading this story by now understand that Franklin doesn't care about Julia. So what is the point of always pointing out how indifferent Franklin is to Maggie and how attentive he is towards Julia....
What does Helen mean Maggie is still married? Married to whom? Franklin has made it clear that he doesn't consider her anything and is flaunting his relationship with Julia for anyone who has eyes to witness it.So Maggie should wait for the divorce to be finalized to date. Isn't that double standards. And Franklin is dragging the divorce deliberately since divorced or not he does what he wants without any consequences. Really women are emotionally oppressed even authors only know that point of view 😕...
I feel sad for Maggie and all married women who have to endure emotional abuse with no end in sight. By the look of it,Franklin doesn't want to divorce Maggie for whatever reason. Either the reason is good or bad, Maggie shouldn't be humiliated like this just because she loves him. And the grandmother should be helping her get a divorce not emotionally blackmailing her, if she really cared about her. Franklin is using Maggie's love for the grandmother to abuse her. Is really loving people wrong? Author this one-sided hurt is not right. Let Maggie move on with dignity. It shouldn't end up with Franklin professing his love for her and her accepting it....
