Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 625

Oliver got home, took a quick shower, and wrapped a towel around his waist, his abs on full display. He had barely settled into his seat when his phone buzzed. It was Asher.

"Mr. Oliver, Ms. Josefina's grandma and cousin are here. They're asking about Lena and claiming Ms. Josefina chased her away. They were pretty rude to her."

Oliver's expression darkened, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Got it," he said and hung up. He immediately dialed George.

"George, I need a gift basket ready. Deliver it to the Harrison household by 7 PM tomorrow. I've sent you the list," Oliver instructed before ending the call.

George looked at the long list, completely stunned. How was he supposed to get all this done by tonight? Sleep was clearly not on the agenda! But he didn't complain; Oliver paid well, and that was motivation enough.

...

By 7 AM the next morning, a mountain of gifts had piled up at the Harrison family doorstep. Word quickly spread to Alivia and Mandy.

Mandy, pushing Alivia in her wheelchair, came out to see what the buzz was about. After asking around, they found out all the gifts were for Josefina, much to their shock.

"Why on Earth would that country girl get all these gifts?" Mandy blurted out.

Alivia was equally puzzled. What sort of man had Josefina snagged?

"Mandy, wheel me over there. I want to see who has the audacity to fancy Josefina."

Mandy, equally curious, pushed Alivia closer.

...

The living room was overflowing with gifts from Oliver. Alivia and Mandy stood there, stunned into silence. Jewelry, designer clothes, and luxury handbags were everywhere.
