–LIA’S POV–

I woke up to the softest kiss on my cheek.

Zane’s breath was warm against my skin, his fingers stroking the side of my face, like I was something fragile. He smiled when I opened my eyes, brushing my hair back and whispering, “Good morning, love.”

I didn’t reply. Just pulled him down for a kiss, pressing my lips against his. He hummed against my mouth, leaning into me like

His arms snaked around me, tightening

for a second before he pulled away with a grin.

“Come on,” he said. “You’re officially pack royalty now. Time to face the people.”

I groaned. “I thought that means I can do whatever I want. Like stay in bed with you all day.”
