Chapter 719 Why Are You Surprised? 

Around them, the crowd kept cheering, hooting, and taking photos 

Damien stood in the middle of the countless roses before Cherise and looked at her lovingly 

She felt that she and Damien had fully reconciled Still, she hadn’t anticipated that Damien would set up such a grand proposal to publicly declare their renewed relationship

As the car door closed, thunderous applause still echoed in her ears. Her heart was brimming with an indescribable sense of joy and excitement. 

Damien held her close to him. “Cherise.” He rested his chin on her head. “I must admit, I didn’t expect you to agree so readily.” 

Cherise lay in his arms and was momentarily at a loss for words. She could only look up at him and ask softly. “Why are you surprised?” 

After all… her heart had always belonged to him… Her feelings had never strayed.
