Chapter 1168 The Truth
Jude raised his head as he spoke. His eyes were filled with cold hatred. "I hate them even more than you do."
Jude's words left Colin stunned, unable to speak for a long moment.
"Are you saying..."
So, it turns out Jude's girlfriend back then was also...
"Yes."
Jude looked up. His eyes brimmed with anger. "Phoenix was murdered, and Kenneth was the one behind it all. I hate them even more than you do."
"Colin." He looked at Colin intently. "Forgive me for only telling you all this now. The truth is... I've always known."
Colin felt as if something heavy had struck his head, leaving him dazed and disoriented.
"How... could this have happened?"
For the past few years, he had been studying abroad and absorbed in the world of comics. All he knew was that his brother's girlfriend had died and that he was heartbroken, choosing to give up inheriting all the Gray Group's assets. But Colin had no idea there was such a story behind it all.
He clenched his jaw, and his throat felt constricted. "Jude, when did you find out?"
"When Phoenix died."
Jude closed his eyes, a bitter smile playing on his lips. "I cared so much for Phoenix. Dr. Shaw managed to save her once, but then, out of nowhere, she died despite the doctors' best efforts. I couldn't accept it; I had to find out what happened."
He continued, "And then I found out about Kenneth and his brother's, as well as his mother's dark secrets. I'm unsure if Kenneth acted independently or was directed by our father. But..."
Jude opened his eyes, smiling bitterly as he poured himself a glass of water and drank it. "I tested Mom. I asked her what she would do if Dad betrayed her and even tried to harm us."
"She said she didn't want to think about it, but there was one thing she was sure of. She didn't want her son to be at odds with his father. Furthermore, she didn't want her son to be seen as someone who hurt his own father."
"Because no matter how excessive my father's actions were, he is still my father. I can seek revenge and punish him, but I can't do it with my own hands. Doing so would give people something to talk about."
"Hansen is Damien's biological father. The truth is you and Damien are twins."
Jude smiled slightly. "Surprised?"
Colin's joints stiffened. His entire body froze.
He really hadn't expected this.
Before this, he had always thought it was just a coincidence that he and Damien looked alike and that Damien's parents and his own had similar fates was also a coincidence.
But now...
"You are part of the Lenoir family."
Jude took another deep breath and continued, "You and Damien are twins. When you were born, Hansen was away, out of town."

🌸 Message to the Author: 🌸 Hi! I just finished reading your story, and I truly loved it — especially Damien and Cherise’s journey. But what completely stole my heart was Lennon and Lucy. Their final scene left me stunned… Lennon being alive, quietly showing up after all that time — it was such a powerful and emotional moment. But it also left me with so many feelings… What happened to him? How did Lucy react after the shock wore off? What did they say to each other? I keep thinking about them. I know they’re side characters, and the story is marked as completed, but I would truly love a bonus chapter — even a small one — to see what came next for them. They deserve that closure. And honestly? So do we, as readers who deeply connected with them. And we would also love to see more of Damien and cherise with their kids. Thank you for creating characters that live so deeply in our hearts. If you ever feel inspired, please consider giving Lennon and Lucy a little more. ❤️...
