"It's waterproof and shockproof, so she can't really damage it," Damien remarked with a smile, setting down his teacup. His dark eyes held an affectionate gaze as he glanced lightly at Cherise. "But as a precaution, I had it turned off while she was playing with it just in case she accidentally dialed any number. If that happened, my business partners would hear my wife's habit of singing in the bathtub."

Cherise fell silent, feeling utterly mortified. If there were a hole nearby, she would have gladly leaped into it at that moment. "I only talked about it because I was answering Mandy's question about why my phone was turned off," Damien responded, his impeccable brows knitting slightly as he also lowered his voice. "I didn't mean to embarrass you."

Mandy was dumbstruck. She exclaimed, "Get out! No public displays of affection in front of me! It's too much!"

Meanwhile, at the side, Lucy stayed composed, taking out her phone and opening the camera app. "I'm recording all of this..." She grinned mischievously and looked at Mandy. "Who do you think will pay me first to send this video to the other person when they argue in the future?
