Chapter 700
Eugene looked at Theresa. He tried to say something, took a look at his mother, and walked away.
Ella calmed down when she saw Eugene leave.
Theresa had thought that Ella might throw a tantrum at her, but it didn’t happen!
Ella just said to Theresa, “Please have a seat!”
Her politeness took Theresa by surprise.
Theresa let go of her hand and realized that she was not as irrational as Old Mr. Calsis.
Ella knew what she was doing well.
The maid was still cleaning up the mess in the dining room. Theresa looked at Ella and suggested, “Why don’t we go and talk in the living room?”
With such a mess, it wasn’t a good idea to talk in the dining room.
Hearing Theresa’s words, Ella stood up and walked into the living room. She sat down, sized Theresa up, and asked, “You’re a doctor?”
Theresa said, “No, I’m an acupuncturist. Eugene told me that you have headaches…”
Ella said, “Can you help me with it?”
She looked sensible as she spoke.
It seemed that she wanted to get better as well.
Theresa looked at Ella and found that she hadn’t misjudged the old lady. Ella was an elegant woman.
Theresa said, “I’ll try my best.”
Everything happened so quickly today that Theresa found herself unable to keep up.
Leonard and Ben sat there. They were both scared by what the old lady had just done.
Just then, the doorbell rang. Theresa said, “Leonard, go get the door.”
Leonard quickly ran to the door and opened it.
In no time, Roderick came in from outside. He had said yesterday that he would come along.
Upon hearing her words, Theresa said, “I have a good master.”
Leo was one of the best acupuncturists.
He wouldn’t teach others all his skills before.
However, probably because of his age, he had taught Theresa everything he could in the hope that all his skills would be passed down.
Upstairs, Eugene was cleaning his wounds calmly in front of the mirror. Cristina stood nearby, looking at him. She had always thought he was a glamorous man, but now she just felt terrible when she saw him like this.
She said to Eugene, “Has your mother always done this to you?”
Hearing her voice, Eugene stiffened.
He had been used to everything about his mother.
However, he found it extremely embarrassing when Cristina asked about it.
Only in front of the woman he loved, he didn’t want to show the most humiliating side of him.
Eugene said, “You can go out now!”
