Married To The Mad Vampire Lord novel Chapter 209

Chapter 209: GET THE DOCTOR_Part 1

He began to move inside her again. His body was hot and tense, the sounds he made thrilling her beyond anything she thought she could feel.

This is bliss, her mind whispered as he took her to cresting waves of pleasure.

She came beneath his body for the second time, her release sudden and overwhelming, making her twist and arch against his hips as wave after wave broke through her. She clung to him, moaning his name, her inner muscles tightening and pulsing around him, drawing him deeper into the storm of her pleasure.

Rohan groaned low in his throat, his thrusts growing urgent, desperate. With a final, deep plunge, he spilled into her again, his body tensing hard as he emptied himself with a raw cry. He collapsed against her, spent and breathless, their bodies pressed tightly together, hearts thundering, their skin slick with shared heat as they lay tangled in the aftermath of ecstasy.

Belle couldn’t fight the exhaustion when it washed over her, and before she knew it, she was fast asleep as all her limbs grew weak.

Rohan pulled out of her slowly and rolled to his side, drawing her spent body into his, curving his arm around her waist and fitting her small frame against his. Smiling gently at how she snuggled against him with a small sigh of contentment, he pressed his lips to her hair and closed his eyes.

A loud sound of something dropping somewhere in the corridor outside their room made Belle jump awake, startled at first—until her eyes fell on the man beside her.

Rohan lay next to her, propped on one elbow, watching her sleep.

"Hello," she murmured.

Rohan gave her a slow smile. She couldn’t tell if he’d slept or not, but he didn’t look tired at all.

"I thought the storm would be over by now," she remarked, glancing toward the curtainless window, where the sky seemed to have brightened a bit but the storm was still on and raging. "What time is it?"

"It’s early in the morning," he replied.

Belle’s eyes rounded as she had not expected them to stay all night in this inn. "How are we going to get home in such weather?"

"Rav is on his way here." Rohan told her as he moved closer to her under the covers.

"Rav? How will he know where to find us?" she asked, blinking, unaware of the mind link they shared. And when Rohan told her about it, she looked fascinated by it. "How does it work?"

"When I was inside the water, I felt for a moment that I had stopped existing, like my body was no longer mine. It was like I lived in darkness, where I had no body and no soul, but something suddenly touched me and I found myself awake with the plant," Belle explained, her expression holding confusion.

"After that day, have you found yourself in the land of the dead again?" Rohan asked, placing his hand on her arm, watching as she shook her head.

"No. Now that you mention it, after I got back your heart, I have not found myself there again. Now that I think about it, could it mean that because I fell into that river and still lived, I will no longer be able to go back there?" she asked, hope filling her voice—because as much as she somehow found advantage in her gift, she did not want to go back there and face the watcher, who she had narrowly escaped from the last time by falling into the river.

"I doubt that. Perhaps you have gotten control over going there unknowingly." he said uncertainly, hating that the only creature who could answer his question had cowardly stayed back in Nightbrook.

"Whatever it is that made it so, I think it’s for the best if you don’t ever go into the land again," he added as he brought his hand to caress her bare arm, not believing she had almost wiped out her own existence in the process of saving his heart. The more he learned the things she did for him, the more his heart was helplessly losing itself to her.

"Rohan," she called, looking at his face, "about Astral, why did he break the rules to give you back your soul instead of crossing the river?" She had always been curious about this question since Kuhn told her.
