She ran the household for Laurence, and Laurence would deposit a huge amount of money into the household account every month to cover the estate’s maintenance, staff salaries, and daily expenses.

Noelle was Laurence’s bodyguard and trusted housekeeper.

“Your money belongs to you. Mommy Jane and Lilian are coming, so it’s only right that I pay for everything. I can’t use your salary.”

“There’s a substantial balance in the household account because your monthly transfers consistently exceed our spending.”
