“Grandpa, if you’re sleepy, go back to your room and rest. How did you fall asleep on the sofa?” 
She nudged him, and the old man slowly woke up. He blinked several times, and when he saw it was his granddaughter, he sat up straight and said, “Romina is back. 
What time is it?” 
“It’s a little after eleven. Grandpa is sleepy, so he should go back to his room and rest. Don’t sleep here. The air conditioner is still on low, it’s a bit cold, and Grandpa doesn’t have a blanket.” 
She picked up the TV remote and turned off the TV. 
“When will my parents be home?”

“I don’t have any social engagements tonight. Grandpa should have called me earlier. If I knew that Grandpa had something to talk to me about, I would have come back early.” She would not let the old man wait for her until late at night. 
“It’s not a big deal. Grandpa knows that you and Merissa are out and doesn’t want to disturb you two to be alone.” 

Romina’s face was hot and a little embarrassed. “Grandpa knows 
everything. It must be my eldest brother who told you about it.” 
The old man smiled and said, “Grandpa still holds the title of Chairman. Everything you do in the company, every person you meet with every day, I know everything I need to know.” 
He may be semi-retired, but he still controls the company, and everyone has to give him the respect of the Chairman. 
He trusts his grandchildren and generally doesn’t monitor their actions. He lets them go their own way, even if it means the company suffers losses. Business is a game of chance, with both profit and loss. 
Just treat it with a normal attitude. 
“Romina, grandpa just wants to ask you what you plan to do? Merissa, is there a chance for you to become grandpa’s grandson-in-law?” 
“Grandpa really admires that kid. I wanted to pry him over before but couldn’t. It’s not bad to be grandpa’s grandson-in-law. It’s also a good thing for our Lan family to become a family member.”
