He roared, causing her mouth to snap shut.

The next moment, she broke into a louder wail. "You bully! You can't even take responsibility for the head of the family! Sasha has been cheated on, yet you're yelling at me when you should yell at Matthew instead!"

His cheeks turned red with anger at her scream. "Have you contacted Matthew? How do you know he cheated on Sasha?"

"Of course, I have, but he's unreachable! Besides, no sane woman would claim to have had an affair with him out of the blue! Isn't it just asking for trouble?"

Her words left him frozen in place, at a loss for words.

Clara watched the two argue in the corner. The sight gave her ecstasy.

If it weren't for maintaining the facade and not drawing suspicion, she would've burst into laughter at the ridiculous scene.

To her, nothing was more enjoyable than witnessing a fight in Matthew's household.

“We shouldn't jump to conclusions about Matthew cheating on Sasha. Leave him a voice message and summon him back. I want to have a word with him," he instructed Helen. He could barely hold back a sigh.

"What's the point of leaving a voicemail? He doesn't even answer my calls nowadays."

“He's an important figure. We can't call him as we please without a good reason. He's probably just busy. After all, he has business to attend to." James massaged his throbbing temples and patiently explained, "As for her, I'll contact the president of the Martial League to help look into her background. If their affair is true, I'll seek justice for Sasha even if it means risking my reputation."
