There were not many people in the inner court now; according to the house rules, if anything big happened, they needed to worship their ancestors at the outer court first.

There were many antiques placed in the inner court, and they were all Wilfred's favorites.

Tristan brought Matthew to a corner where there was an old, wooden cabinet placed there. The cabinet was big, and it was empty inside.

"This was my favorite place to hide when I played hide-and-seek back in the day. This is the only place that can hide people in the whole inner court. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but we'll need to hide here for a moment, Matthew," she said.

He replied to her with a nod, "It's okay." Then, he entered the wooden cabinet, and Tristan followed behind him.
