Hearing this, Ormond's expression froze awkwardly. He quickly apologised and said, 'Tm sorry, I didn't mean that. I just-"

He wanted to explain, but Fade waved his hand and said, "I understand. However, as a doctor, I have the ability to judge who should be saved first."

"You're not? Then who are you?" Carlos looked at Fade and asked.

Fade completely ignored Carlos. He stepped into the dense forest with Pablo and their figures quickly disappeared into the night.

Carlos looked at them and then lowered his head to look at his broken leg. He was both enraged and pained. With his teeth gritted, he said, "I can't believe they did this to me. When my cousin finds out who you are, I won't let you guys off the hook!"
