Luna Aurora novel (Alpha Fenrir) novel Chapter 199

Chapter 199

Aurora sat across from Fenrir in his dimly lit chamber, the tension between them thick as a storm cloud. His golden eyes burned with protectiveness as she laid out the plan once more.

“They’ll be safe in the mortal world,” Aurora said firmly. “The Lycan King’s influence won’t reach them there, and neither will the Pact’s power.”

Fenrir leaned back, crossing his arms. “And you’re certain of this? Certain they won’t face dangers of an entirely different kind?”

Aurora’s voice softened, but her resolve remained unshaken. “Nothing is certain, but I know this: staying here guarantees they’ll be hunted. They’ll never have a moment of peace.”

Fenrir’s gaze flickered toward the window, where the moonlight bathed the forest in silver. “You’re asking me to send my son to a place I cannot follow. To trust a world I don’t understand.”

“And I’m asking you to trust me,” Aurora said, leaning forward. “Elyra can’t go alone. She’ll need someone who understands her. Someone who can protect her.”

Fenrir’s jaw clenched. “And you think Dain is that person?”

“I’ll protect them both,” Aurora interrupted, her tone unwavering. “With everything I have.”

Fenrir stopped pacing, his shoulders heavy with resignation. “Fine,” he said at last. “But don’t expect me to be grateful. You’re asking me to give up my son.”

Aurora nodded solemnly. “I know what I’m asking.”

The room fell into silence, the air thick with unspoken emotions. Aurora left Fenrir to wrestle with his decision, her heart heavy but resolute.
