Love You Like I Used To Forget It (Millie Bridge) novel Chapter 666

"I'm only warning you this time out of respect for your health, Mrs. Quill Senior. But if it happens again, don't blame me for what I'll do," Grace said coldly.

Hearing Grace's threatening tone from inside the room, Emilia trembled with anger. She didn't care what schemes Grace used on Irvin or what had happened between them, but there was no way she would let Grace talk to her grandmother like that.

Emilia threw the door open with force, her eyes cold and sharp.

"Ms. Keller, we both know the truth. And if you pretend not to, I have plenty of evidence. A single one would be enough to completely destroy your so-called husband," she said coldly. "So don't ever let me see you again, especially not around my grandma."

If Grace kept going, Emilia would do whatever it took to take them down.

The arrogance on Grace's face faltered under Emilia's threat. For a moment, there was a flash of murderous intent in her eyes.

But she reminded herself that she hadn't come just to provoke Lauren. She had a bigger plan to carry out. She forced herself to hold back and hide her true intentions.

"No matter what evidence you have, we have a child now. If you have any self-respect at all, stop going after my husband," Grace said arrogantly.

With that, she let out a dismissive scoff and walked away.

Lauren knew Grace was just talking nonsense to provoke her and hurt Emilia. Still, she couldn't help but get upset hearing her beloved granddaughter being slandered like that, especially when Emilia had done nothing wrong.

She didn't want Emilia to have anything more to do with Irvin.

"Emi, although Timothy is actually Irvin, the world only sees him as Timothy," Lauren said gently. "And now he has a child with that woman. You really shouldn't be involved with him anymore.
