Love You Like I Used To Forget It (Millie Bridge) novel Chapter 662

Before Emilia could say anything, Lauren hurriedly added, "I think Noah's a great guy. He's kind and sincere toward you, so I'm sure you'll be happy if you marry him. He definitely won't be like Irvin!"

She really liked Noah and thought he was a great guy. So, when she wanted Emilia to marry someone and start a new life, he was the first person who appeared in her mind.

Just as Emilia was about to say something, Noah rushed into the hospital room. He came here as soon as he could after hearing Lauren was at the hospital. He heard her telling Emilia to marry him, and he looked at Emilia, eyes sparkling.

Meanwhile, Emilia couldn't look him in the eyes at all, and she was nonplussed by what Lauren had said.

Emilia wasn't ready for a new relationship just yet. However, even if she were, she wouldn't want to be with Noah at all. To her, he was just a close friend.

So, after she tucked Lauren in bed, she headed out of the hospital room with him. When he confessed to her once more, she rejected him with more certainty than ever.

"Noah, it doesn't matter if I have moved on from Irvin or not. There's just no way you and I can be together, even if I wanted to start a new relationship. You're like a brother to me!"

As Noah became busier with work, he had grown more mature as well. Because of that, Emilia figured he could accept her rejection. That was why she didn't beat around the bush this time and rejected him straightforwardly.

"Noah has always been sincere toward you. Now that Irvin is having a child with Grace, you probably won't be going back to him anymore. So, why don't you move on from everything and give Noah a chance?"

When Emilia heard that, she turned and saw William standing behind her. He looked so dashing under the tree that it felt like he had just jumped out of a romance novel. Even though he was a friend, she still fell into a daze as she looked at him.

Emilia couldn't help thinking how unfair life was. Although they were all human, William was born with great looks. He was so great-looking that he could make any scenery look good by just standing there.

After she returned to her senses, she smiled helplessly. "I would like to give Noah a chance as well if it's possible. However, I only see him as a brother and nothing more. So, if I start dating him, I'll only be wasting his time."
