Love You Like I Used To Forget It (Millie Bridge) novel Chapter 506

Grace had immediately felt relieved because it was Irvin who was approaching her. To her, he was a safe person. She believed that no matter what happened, he would never harm her.

But right after, Grace sensed the dangerous air Irvin was exuding. It was even stronger than when he had choked her because he thought they had slept together.

Back then, Irvin had almost strangled her to death. At this memory, Grace instinctively yelled, "Help! Come quick!"

She had barely survived Irvin's rage-fueled death grip, and she hadn't been pregnant then. So, her chances of surviving now while pregnant were even slimmer. She also absolutely wouldn't allow anything to happen to her unborn babies.

Usually, just one shout from Grace would summon dozens of bodyguards. But this time, no matter how loudly she yelled, not a single one appeared. This made her feel something was amiss.

Jumping to her feet in alarm, Grace reflexively backed away. Her voice even shook, and she stuttered uncontrollably when she spoke. "I-Irvin… L-let's talk about t-this…"

Mentally, Grace exclaimed, "Don't scare me like this!"

Her mind raced as she spoke. She wondered what had happened. What could have made Irvin like this?

But no matter how hard she racked her brain, she couldn't think of anything she had done that would make him so angry.

Ever since successfully getting pregnant, Grace's only goal was to give birth to her babies safely and without incident. Because of this, she hadn't done anything at all.

She really couldn't think of any reason why Irvin would suddenly be like this. All she could do was keep backing away, until she had nowhere left to go.

Without a word, Irvin grabbed her throat ruthlessly, instantly squeezing the air out of her.

Grace didn't want to die, and more than that, she didn't want anything to happen to the children she was carrying. Thus, she thrashed wildly.

However, Irvin's strength far outmatched hers. No matter how hard she struggled, it was useless.

His hand snapped back to her throat as he spoke.

Having just had a brush with death, Grace knew the Irvin before her—who didn't care about anything right now—would really kill her. So, she didn't wait for his grip to tighten.

"I'll tell you! I'll tell you!" she blurted.

Grace was pregnant right now, so she really couldn't go through another life-threatening ordeal. And even if she wasn't pregnant, she still wouldn't dare test Irvin with him being like this.

She knew revealing the fact that Timothy was still alive might ultimately ruin everything she had worked for. Even so, her life should be the utmost priority no matter what.

She had to stay alive first!
