At last, the day of the bonding ceremony arrived.

Early that morning, Tessa returned to the Sinclair family estate.

While wolf bonding rituals weren’t as elaborate as human weddings–there was no formal custom–they did hold firm to traditions. She wanted her grandfather to see this with his own eyes, as if he had never truly left her.

The Sinclair estate had been thoroughly cleaned, inside and out, by Yardley.
