"Young man, are you Chris? If you're smart, come here now, or I'll kill all these people!"
With that said, the person on the other end hung up the phone.
Busy tone echoed through the phone.
Chris's face darkened instantly.
How could such a blind dog dare to run wild on the East Coast?
And from the looks of it, James Mester seemed to have been taken hostage by the other party.
Esther noticed something was wrong and asked worriedly, "What happened, dear?"
Chris put away his phone and laughed, "It's nothing. Just an annoying fly causing trouble. I'll go take care of it!"
"Alright," Esther nodded.
She never interfered with Chris's matters, because she knew he was always measured and capable of handling all kinds of problems. There was no need for her to worry.
"What about the situation with Chester Group and Nance Group?" Esther asked hesitantly. Although the two groups were at full-scale war, the Nance Group was too powerful. Esther felt uneasy without Chris by her side.
Chris stroked Esther's hair and smiled, "Don't worry! You take care of the business matters! Just remember, whatever you do, I will support you fully. I am your strong backing!"
If he wanted to, he could establish a hundred Chester Groups at any time.
"Thank you, dear!" Esther was deeply moved by Chris's absolute trust.
She knew very well that Chester Group belonged to Chris, and she was merely working for him. But Chris did not care about the group, instead entrusting the entire corporation to her. This was an enormous trust!
As Chris left, Esther watched his retreating figure, proud and cold, yet so admirable.
After leaving Chester Group, Chris drove towards Mester Manor. He wanted to see who was the reckless person daring to come to the East Coast seeking death.
Meanwhile, at Mester Manor, chaos reigned. Hundreds of guards lay scattered on the ground, groaning in pain.
