Living With My Lady Boss by Blue Silver novel Chapter 1266

Bailey was filled with nothing but regret then. None of this would have happened to Wilbur had it not been for her.

Yet she did not know how to fight and could not help the situation in the slightest.

Tears streamed down Bailey's face at the sight of Wilbur about to be beaten up.

The next second, however, a series of thumps rang through the air.

Sopa and his men were kicked to the ground, crying out in agony.

Bailey was stunned, hardly able to believe her eyes at the sight of the swollen, bruised faces before her.

Had Wilbur done that? How could he have taken down all these people on his own? Bailey had not even seen him do anything.

Just as Bailey was frozen in shock, Wilbur looked down at Jack with a smile. "Got any other bosses you'd like to get here as well?"

Of course, Jack had long since been scared out of his wits.

It was important to note that Sopa practiced one of the deadliest forms of combat he had learned from the underground circle, and his men were no less ruthless in their ways.

Yet all of them had fallen in what seemed like the blink of an eye, just like that. Jack knew then that he was in trouble.

Amidst his terror, Jack spluttered, "I'm so sorry, sir! Please forgive me, I'll get out of here now, and I won't harass Bailey anymore."

Wilbur kicked Jack aside at the words. "I'll let you go on the account that you're Dashan. I promise you though, I won't nearly be as nice the next time I see you."

"Yes, yes…" Jack was ashen with fear, running for the door the second he was let go, even uncaring of his leader still in the room.

Just then, Sopa finally got to his feet. He clutched his face, glowering at Wilbur. "You had the nerve to put your hands on someone from the Mighty Tiger Gang, and you're going to regret it?"

"The Mighty Tiger Gang?" Wilbur chuckled.

Wilbur frowned. "Can you tell me about your relationship with Jack?"

Bailey lowered her head at the words.

Wilbur said at once, "You don't have to if you don't want to! I'm just curious."

"No, it's fine," said Bailey. "We grew up in the same neighborhood back at home, and I thought Jack was a pretty nice guy for a while. But then I found out that he had connections to underground gangs and suspected him of doing drugs and ended things with him right away."

Wilbur frowned. It seemed like Bailey had not done the wrong thing there.

"But Jack kept on harassing me, saying I'd never be able to get to where I am today without his help and asking me to pay him a hundred thousand dollars." Bailey bit her lip. "I had no choice but to say yes, and since then I've been working on every single free day of mine to pay him back."

Wilbur sighed.

Bailey continued, "I'd paid him fifty thousand after half a year, but he only got worse. Started stalking me and asking for money, regardless of whether or not I was making any. He's lost his mind, I swear."
