Wilbur laughed when he heard that statement. "Sorry for the disrespect."
"Hmph, just you wait," May sneered and said.
Wilbur shook his head and continued to start his nap, ignoring them.
Not long after that the plane took off, and the air stewardess pushed the drinks cart over.
Wilbur was sleeping, so the stewardess did not disturb him. Warner and May both asked for a cup of coffee.
After the stewardess left, May got up, but staggered and spilled her coffee all over Wilbur.
Wilbur opened his eyes to see the stains on his clothes, then looked at May.
May covered her mouth and bit back a laugh as she said, "I'm so sorry. I lost my footing."
"You did it on purpose, didn't you?" Wilbur said coldly.
May laughed and said, "So what if I did, scum?"
Wilbur's expression immediately darkened.
At that moment, Warner said, "Brat, apologize to May right now."
"You still want me to apologize?" Wilbur's mouth widened in disbelief.
"Warner smiled coldly, "This is your last chance. Otherwise, you'll see what happens when we get off the plane."
"Fine by me. I'd like to see how you plan to deal with me."
After that, Wilbur shut his eyes and napped again. However, this time, he decided to teach those two a lesson after they got off the plane.
May looked at Wilbur and laughed. "You're still being stubborn. I guess you really don't know what's good for you."
However, Wilbur ignored her. When May saw that, she scoffed and sat back down.
After a few hours, the plane slowly descended and landed at the airport in Seechertown.
Wilbur opened his eyes, looking at the two of them before he stood up and got off the plane.
"I guess you really do have a death wish."
Marco was just about to attack when Warner suddenly said, "Stop, someone's coming."
Marco looked back in surprise, only to see two people approaching them. Meanwhile, Warner was already walking over to greet them.
"Miss Yves, Mister Campbell, what brings the both of you here?" Warner greeted the two of them.
Wilbur smiled. Those two were none other than Faye and Faron.
Faye had been the one who said she would pick him up, but Faron was there as well.
It seemed like Warner knew the two of them as well.
Cape Consortium regularly organized charitable activities and made donations. Warner was usually the one personally responsible for dealing with organizations as big as Cape Consortium, so he naturally knew Faye. He also knew of her position and influence in Kardon Province, so she was someone he could never offend.
There was no need to explain Faron's position either. He was someone who was unrivaled in Kardon Province. Warner had only seen Faron from afar during certain events, so Faron did not actually know him.
Faron's status was even more impressive. Anything he wanted in Kardon province could be done in an instant.
