Living With My Lady Boss by Blue Silver novel Chapter 1233

Ivy looked very determined.

Wilbur had to sigh because that girl was excessively prideful.

"Let's go. I don't need it."

He walked outside after saying that.

Ivy sighed to herself and followed silently.

As they walked out of the hotel, they saw Taylor with two men standing in their way.

Wilbur chuckled and asked, "What's wrong? Haven't you had enough?"

"Stop being so arrogant! Let's fight again if you dare to! I wonder how much of a fighter you are!" yelled Taylor.

Wilbur shook his head and laughed. He said, "I'll play along with you since you're asking for it. Tell me where."

"Tranquil Inn. I'll see you there," said Taylor through a clenched jaw.

Wilbur shrugged and said, "I have some business to attend to right now, so I'll be there at twelve."

"I'll be waiting," Taylor said with a sneer.

Wilbur shook his head and walked away confidently.

Ivy looked worried behind him.

Soon, they were in a meeting room on the top floor of the Kiwanis Club.

Eileen and Braum were waiting for them with two thick stacks of documents on the table.

Wilbur started to feel annoyed when he saw the documents.

Eileen and Braum saw that Wilbur brought in a girl, and it piqued their interest.

Wilbur called Ivy in and said, "Let me introduce to you. This is Ivy Goode. They are the authorities of the Kiwanis Club, Eileen Fall and Braum Steele."

Eileen and Braum stood to shake hands with Ivy.

Eileen smiled and replied, "You recommended her, so I have to give her an important position."

"Thanks. Ivy, you should go with Eileen," said Wilbur.

Ivy kept nodding.

It was nice enough that she had a place to eat, so she had no expectations of what job Wilbur would provide her with.

She did not realize that her fate was about to change completely.

Then, Wilbur started to go through the documents, and he talked to Eileen and Braum from time to time.

Ivy served them on the side by pouring water. She felt clumsy at first, but she calmed down after a while. Through careful observation of the way they worked, she always cleaned the table in time, and she quietly placed their water where they could easily reach.

Wilbur noticed it, and he smiled.

It was the afternoon in the blink of an eye. Wilbur checked the time and said, "I have some business to attend to, so I won't be joining for lunch."
