There were already over a dozen people in the room. They looked at Taylor's swollen face in surprise.
Taylor sat down with a huff and the girl sat down by his side.
"What happened, Mister Webster?" a middle-aged man asked.
Taylor said in frustration, "Can you mind your own business?"
"Hahaha, of course." The man no longer asked about it, and the others pretended not to see it either.
A while later, a middle-aged man in a suit walked inside with a cigar in his hand and a beautiful girl by his side.
Everyone immediately got up and bowed, "Greetings, Mister Zaidi."
Jared Zaidi did not even spare them a second glance as he took the girl to a seat and sat down. Only when he waved did everyone else take a seat.
"Do you know why I've asked all of you here?" Jared said coldly.
Someone immediately answered, "Mister Zaidi, you're a member of the Kiwanis Club, and we're all tycoons of Magic City. This has to be something major, right?"
Everyone hurriedly agreed, including Taylor.
Jared scoffed and said, "You're all my people, and you have some positions within the city. I called all of you here to tell you that the Kiwanis Club has changed. All of you better behave yourselves and don't cause me any trouble."
"What? How did that happen?" someone asked.
Jared coldly responded, "The Kiwanis Club has a new master now. As for the details, Eileen and Braum have already issued a gag order, so don't bother trying to find out.
"What?"
Everyone was shocked as they looked at each other in disbelief.
The chairman of the Kiwanis Club, Ferris, was unrivaled in Magic City. Who could take his place?
"I-It's nothing. I just happened to fall down because I came here in a hurry," Taylor clutched his face and stammered out.
Jared shook his head, standing up before he said, "Remember what I said. Don't cause any trouble."
After that, he left with the girl holding his arm.
Everyone hurriedly sent him off.
After he left, everyone who remained exchanged looks of shock.
What kind of person could topple Ferris and gain control of the Kiwanis Club? It both shocked them and left them incredibly confused.
Not long after that, Wilbur, after taking a bath and resting for a while, walked out of the hotel, preparing to get something to eat outside.
Rather than having a luxurious meal in the hotel, he would rather have a drink and some street food outside, experiencing the wonders of the world.
