Wilbur smiled faintly and said, "Someone is doomed for sure, but I'm not sure who it will be."
"I'm warning you, dude. Stay out of trouble. Your wealth is no match to those with the government's authority. You should know that, right?" asked Wade while glaring at Wilbur.
Wilbur shrugged without saying a word.
Susan walked over at that moment, and she brought hundreds of old people along.
Wilbur watched them in silence.
They started to cause a commotion when they arrived at the bridge, saying, "Hurry up and let us in before we tear this place apart."
"That's right. Don't you know what we're made of? Do you have to force us to tear this place down?"
"Open up! Give us the key, or else!"
They were very arrogant because they were led by Susan. They had no respect for Charles and the others.
Wilbur watched them in silence, and he sneered coldly.
Wade looked at Wilbur and said, "You should do as they say. They're only entering to exercise. They won't take anything from you, so what's the big deal?"
"This is private property," replied Wilbur nonchalantly.
Wade shook his head and said, "You're such a stickler for rules. You're rich, but can you fight against those with power? I don't know how you made it rich in the first place."
Charles and the others stopped Susan and her group of old folks from crossing the bridge. Therefore, Susan decided to approach Wilbur.
She asked arrogantly, "Are you the owner of this place?"
"Yes," Wilbur replied nonchalantly.
Susan scoffed coldly and said, "Hurry up and tell them to let us pass. Give us the keys. Otherwise, I'll expose you immediately and have the government confiscate your land. Let's see if you dare to act so arrogantly next time."
"Do you mean the government or your son?" asked Wilbur nonchalantly.
Susan scoffed coldly and replied, "Is there a difference? My son is the government."
A few vehicles drove toward them at high speed as they spoke and pulled over by the side. A few people then walked over quickly.
Elsa was in her special agent uniform. She greeted Wilbur with a smile, "Boss!"
Wilbur frowned and said, "Be serious."
Wade instantly had a bad feeling.
Elsa brought a few men with her. She smiled and said, "Let me introduce you. This is the editor of CNS, Lincoln Chess. This is the Director of the Municipal Propaganda Department, Jay Wonder."
Lincoln and Jay were in their fifties. They immediately took the initiative to shake hands with Wilbur with friendly demeanors after Elsa introduced them.
They knew how terrifyingly powerful Wilbur was.
Even Faron Campbell and Elsa Janae were his subordinates.
Moreover, Orin Campbell himself ordered them to meet Wilbur and punish whoever they needed.
