Just then, a brilliantly-colored barrier of light appeared around Wilbur.
He stood in the middle of this barrier, completely unmoving.
The terrifying Halo of Death struck the barrier, and Maddox let out a crazed laugh.
No power could withstand the Halo of Death.
It was the God of Darkness' ultimate move, powerful enough to destroy any living being and send their soul to feed the God of Darkness.
However, Maddox's smile froze the very next instant.
The light shooting out of Halo of Death was completely absorbed by Wilbur's Dragon's Safehaven without even causing the slightest of ripples.
Maddox stared on in shock. His followers were at a loss for words as well.
Lucia, Demi, and the others widened their eyes in a daze.
Sophie was the only person whooping and cheering at the top of her lungs, filled with admiration.
A minute later, the effects of Dragon's Safehaven wore off.
A smile appeared on Wilbur's face.
No God of Darkness could hold a candle to that old dragon.
"I guess it's my turn now, eh?" Wilbur smiled at Maddox, whose expression had darkened.
Wilbur sneered coldly, shouting, "Tertiary Immortal Combat: Heaven's Tear of Thunder!"
Spiritual flames exploded out of the historical halberd, and a storm broke out in the heavens.
A blinding ball of lightning appeared on the halberd, and a ray of light surged out of it.
Both the ball of lightning and the shield faded into rampant spirit energy, whipping around, and forming a roaring hurricane.
Maddox heaved a breath of relief, and his followers let out a cheer as well.
It seemed like Trevor Penn could not trump their master at the end of the day.
The next second, however, the square began to ring with the piercing howls of fierce winds.
Countless gigantic blades of wind hurtled in from all directions, slicing at Maddox.
Maddox immediately panicked and moved to defend himself, but it was all too late.
Even if he were to make it in time, whatever spiritual energy he had left would not be enough to withstand this terrifying wind.
Maddox cried out in agony as the blades of wind sliced through his body, the pieces falling to the ground.
