Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 959

"By the way, Mister Satchel, where are the two disciples from the Stormy Moon Sect? Why aren't they with you?" Walbert looked around and asked Satchel.

Satchel then explained, "They'll be here soon. It's still early anyway, and they'll probably be waiting until the banquet is over in a cafe or restaurant just opposite here."

"That's great, that's great." Walbert nodded, looked at the gate again, and said, "Severin is still over at the entrance. He hasn't come in yet."

"I'm aware of that. So that's a level nine warrior king, huh? He's a very talented person, but he didn't just offend us this time. Now that he's even offended a force as powerful as the Stormy Moon Sect, his death is all but certain." Satchel nodded, glanced at Severin from a distance, and said pitiably, "It's a shame, though. He has reached level nine warrior king at such a young age, and with his talent, it will probably only be a matter of time until he becomes a warrior emperor."

Riken came up to them and agreed lamentably with Satchel. "It is a shame indeed. He's probably an alchemist with strong mental ability and high attainment, but he should've kept a low profile instead of provoking those whom he can't afford to provoke. Even I feel that it's a pity for him to just die like that."

"There's more to his status than we think. He's now a governor heading South County Mansion." Kroan thought for a moment and added, "If he hadn't offended the Stormy Moon Sect, I don't think anyone would have dared to offend him too. After all, I heard that the new governor of the South County was appointed to the position under the authority of War God Calum. Without Calum's help, the position would have been given to Regan Yankov or Yacob Ladd."

"Hehe, of course I do! You're Riken, and this is the mayor's son, right? I didn't think we'd meet again so soon!" replied Severin with a chuckle.

"Haha, I'm glad you remember us! I just found out that you're a county governor! It's quite unexpected that someone as young as you could achieve something like that!" Draven remarked with a cordial laugh, as if he had already forgotten about what happened the previous day.

"Unexpected, you say?" Severin frowned and smiled again, "I believe that there are many other things that you would never expect."
