Leaving the Wrong Love Behind Forever novel Chapter 73

As soon as Chris hung up the phone, he happily waved to Jennifer standing at the other end.

Jennifer ran over happily.

The two held hands and got into the Bridgewater family's luxury car parked nearby.

"Wow! This car is so beautiful." Jennifer sat in the car and looked around with curiosity.

"This is nothing. Wait until you see the Bridgewater’s Castle. It is so beautiful. It's like a fairy tale kingdom." Chris said calmly, "I'll take you to have fun when we get there."

"So, it's true." Her little eyes were full of surprise, "Daddy is so rich."

"He’s very rich." Christopher raised his hips, stood up on his toes and opened a treasure box. It was full of dazzling snacks, which made her eyes widen.

He skillfully brought many delicious and fun things to Jennifer. A particular sensitive emotion came across Jennifer's eyes. She looked at him and whispered, "Will you abandon me and mommy in the future?"

Christopher was stunned. He patted her little head with two chubby hands and said unhappily, "Jen, what are you thinking? How could I abandon mommy and you?"

"Then please promise me that no matter what happens in the future, you will never leave me and Mommy." Jennifer still seemed not confident, holding Chris's little hand and begging seriously.

"Okay, I promise you." Christopher agreed wholeheartedly.

His little sister is good at everything, but she's a little unsure and sensitive. Maybe it's because she didn't have a father since she was born.

He held her little hand tightly, as if to give her confidence.

Jennifer smiled sweetly.

As soon as the car stopped at Bridgewater's Castle, Chris took Jennifer on a sightseeing bus to see the scenery.

"Hello grandma." The two little ones ran over and called out cutely together, bending down and bowing to her at the same time.

"Ah, my little grandson is back from school." Wendy immediately put down the newspaper. With a kind smile on her face, looked at Jennifer, waved to her enthusiastically, and asked kindly, "You are Christopher's classmate, Jennifer? His friend, right?"

"That's right." Jennifer smiled, "Grandma, you are so young and elegant. If Chris hadn't said you were his grandma, I would have almost called you aunt."

Jennifer, this little spirit, had already read Wendy's heart. She loved beauty and liked being praised for her youth, so she immediately succumbed to her.

However, she really felt that Wendy is young and elegant. Although she was already in her fifties, she looked like she was in her thirties or forties. She wanted to praise her from the bottom of her heart.

"Really." Wendy is so happy that she couldn't close her mouth. She reached out and picked up the little soft body, put it on her lap, and kissed her on the forehead.

The little guy pressed against her softly. Inexplicably, she felt a natural sense of intimacy.
