Leaving the Wrong Love Behind Forever novel Chapter 71

"What did you say? Daddy is going to marry that ugly witch, Sheryl Lancelot?" After dinner, Chris, Jen, and Hendrick finally connected through a video call.

The three little heads gathered together, and unfortunately, Hendrick had to deliver this extremely heavy news to them.

"Impossible!" Christopher’s first reaction was disbelief. "Daddy personally told me that he's going to marry our mommy and have her move into the Bridgewater family mansion, enjoying good food and nice clothes."

"Hey, poor Christopher, you have been deceived by the adults," Hendrick sighed and reported, "Today, Grandma even asked for my opinion."

"Oh." Christopher was stunned. After confirming it, his face turned red, and he roared in anger, "Daddy, you actually lied to children. I won't spare you."

He turned over and was about to run outside.

"Brother." Jennifer grabbed him, pursing her lips, her eyes watery. "It's very dangerous for you to go out so late. Besides, if Mommy finds out about this, she'll be very angry."

Christopher was stunned, sitting paralyzed on the bed.

"No, Hendrick, tomorrow I will switch places with you. I will go settle accounts with that scumbag daddy." After a while, he sat up, looking at Hendrick.

"Okay." Hendrick readily agreed.

He was eager to return to his mommy. Although he was a little reluctant to leave Grandma, he was even more unwilling to be separated from Mommy.

"Brother, I’m going with you this time." Jennifer stood up after hanging up the phone, chest puffed out, and demanded with a righteous and resolute expression.

"No." He shook his head. "That ugly witch is very bad. She will bully you."

"But you are just a little kid. You can't beat that ugly witch alone. Let me go; I can read minds and help you." She was determined this time, revealing her advantage.

Christopher’s heart moved, thinking for a moment, then nodded, "Alright, but you can't go now. Wait until I figure out a way, then I'll take you in. In any case, this time, we must not let that scumbag daddy marry that ugly witch."

She thought that as a shareholder responsible for the company's daily operations, it shouldn't be a big deal.

But she was wrong.

When she pushed open the office door, a face full of frost, a chilling and intimidating presence, appeared in front of her.

She was frightened and shivered, almost falling to the ground.

"Sylvia, you're late?" Arthur looked at her expressionlessly.

"As the person in charge of the company, shouldn't you set an example? Your blatant tardiness, is there anything to say for yourself?"

She opened her mouth but was momentarily speechless, looking at the man who was imposing and relentless.
